I need to consult for my father, 61 years old, has been unemployed. He has always complained of living under stress. And blame the people around for his situation. We have observed that he keeps on repeating certain people and situation. Constantly thinking and sticking on it. This cycle repeats every now and then. He easily become irritable over small things, angry, highly anxious, sometimes violent and abusive too. He is always fearful, worrisome and suspicious over not-so bothering things. He lacks confidence and is mostly indecisive of small things. He sometimes starts panicking at night over same thoughts. His routine is mostly irregular. My mother is suffering alot. We as his children had very troublesome childhood because of the same. Its still there. Though reduced in frequency. It is still highly debilitating for the family. Kindly help. P.s. My father is not willing to take psychiatric consultation himself.
