I have pcod to I take meprate 10 mg for 5 days for withdrawal bleeding which I get within 5 to 7 days when I do not get my periods. I had intercourse on 2nd july (my period ended on 1st july) took unwanted 72 within 24 hrs and got withdrawal bleeding a week later for 5 days. Then I again had normal periods by itself on 25th july.in mid august I felt like I was about to have periods cause had pain but didn't had periods.in september I took meprate 10 mg for 5 days the usual but it's 9 days now I didn't get my periods but I have period like pain from 5th day since I had meprate last dose. Also on 9th day I had brown discharge. I also took urine pregnancy test which came negative. What should I do? What's wrong with me! I don't wanna be pregnant and I don't know what's wrong. Please help I need urgent guidance i'm freaking out.

You are taking regesteron unnecessarily. When pregnancy test is negative, you could have waited for spontaneous periods. Now don't have contact and wait for normal periods. You are not pregnant now. If periods donot come ,go for cyclical hormones like novelon 21 days for 3 cycles. This will prevent pregnancy also.

Hello lybrate-user, after taking meprate you can wait for upto 15 days for your withdrawal bleed. Since its been 9 days I would suggest not to panic. Wait for another 6 days, if you still do not get your periods you can repeat a pregnancy test. You have already done one and its negative and a false negative is very less likely.

Hi! taking meperate always for withdrawal bleeding is not an appropriate management of pcos. Moreover, using unwanted 72 further disturbs the cycle and hence you cannot predict your date. You can check with urine pregnancy test or get ultrasound. But I would suggest some adequate method for contraception and proper management of pcos.

You playing with medicine you take meprate you take I pill your body hormones getting disturb don’t harm your body have a safe contraception. Either start ocp till you mentally prepare, if you r married and not having kids then better to have a kid don’t delay if you un married and r physically active then use condom for safe sex, after leaving meprate wait for at least 8 days you will get periods if that has over then again check urine for pregnancy and contact me I will guid you insha allah.
