I'm only 23 years old. Today my ultrasonography report came. And I can see there is a problem called "minimal fluid in pod" what does it mean? Could to please tell what all possibilities can be there?

Hi, the Pouch of Douglas (p.o. d) is a small shapeless sac inside your pelvis where different kinds of body fluids gather. In ultrasound examination the doctors specifically look for fluid in this area, because it gives important clues about the cause of your symptoms. Minimal fluid is usually normal and may not mean anything at all, but it may also indicate inflammation or some other condition. It depends on whether you have any problems or healthy. Usually nothing serous about it. Dont get alarmed.
