Dear doctor, I have an inflamed foreskin, which is increasingly getting difficult to retract. Which earlier was relatively fine and retractable without any pain. And now sometimes getting little split during intercourse. Might be because of a short frenulum. Wanted to take your opinion and advise.

Foreskin swelling can be a symptom of phimosis, paraphimosis, or balanitis. There are a number of factors that can cause or contribute to swelling of the foreskin, including infection, poor hygiene, contact dermatitis, and sexual activity. Foreskin swelling doesn't always require treatment, but it can, in some cases, constitute a genuine medical emergency. So in your case a local examination is required and ymptomatic treatment is required depending upon the cause. So visit a doctor for Physical examination of your problem.
