I am 28 years old male. My eyes are blinking rapidly with lower eyelid movement. Also I feel my eyes heavy, with redness sometimes in a day. It is upsetting me. I used to blink it during my exam time or in certain duration in school days but it used to get fixed in some days. It's been months now but facing issue. I have my eyes checked and no problem regarding the glasses. I am taking refresh tears and lowdex on doctors prescription. They suggest dry eyes please guide. Will it get cure.

Excessive blinking can be caused by problems with the eyelids or anterior segment (front surface of the eye), habitual tics, refractive error (need for glasses), intermittent exotropia or turning out of the eye, and stress. It is very rare for excessive blinking to be a sign of an undiagnosed neurologic disorder. Let's have a detailed discussion to ensure proper treatment.
