Does this sound like genital herpes? I had sex with someone I dated. A few weeks later my vagina felt itchy and there was a small red spot, when I scratched it within a couple of seconds it was swollen in size and was weeping clear liquid and it looked wet and weird. I had a bath with salt water and when I went to look at it again it had disappeared and now the skin was just a bit red and there was some flaky skin. I wanted to get swabbed by a doctor but its disappeared overnight. I did not have a fever or anything and there was only that single bump?

Genital herpes is associated with painful vesicles and it do not disappear in one day. You can still consult a gynecologist to rule out infection.
