Hi, I am 25 years old and my marriage is fixed after 6 months. Now I am in need to wear teeth braces. How long it take to straighten. Does my face shape changes? And it need to be in reasonable cost not much costly.

Getting orthodontic treatment completion within 6months is difficult...while some amount of straightening of teeth would be appreciable in three four months itself...but braces need to be retained for more than an year to stabilise the teeth in their new position. You can opt for ceramic braces as they are slightly more aesthetic than metal braces but yet again, are more expensive . Else you can speak to your orthodontist if they can put metal braces itself till your marriage, debond the braces two days before marriage and bond them back within a week after your marriage. It’s definitely a lot of extra work for your orthodontist. And you positively need to put back your braces as early as your orthodontist reccomends after your wedding.so discuss first with your orthodontist and understand everything before you go ahead with the treatment.
