What if a child of 2 years of age gets wheezing frequently in winter months. Is there any need of starting oral steroids? Any problem if I withhold giving steroid despite being suggested by some doctor as wheeze usually responds to nebulization.

You need to give steroids only for a 3-5 days only if nebulisation cannot cure wheezy attacks, nebulisation is is the first step and only if it fails steroids are needed.
