I am a 28 year old male. I am suffering from reduced hearing as long as I can remember. I did a hearing test first time in 2016 They found out SNHL in both ears. 36dB in right n 48dB in left. Have mild tinnitus in right ear. It increases when I ride bike or go to a function. And comes down after a day or 2. Again I did hearing test last week. SNHL has deteriorated to 61dB in right n 69 dB left. So I want to know why has it progressed too rapidly in two years. Also the recent PTA was performed by a different audiologist. And in practical life I find hearing in right ear much better and left. But in test it shows its all same in both ear. Impedance test turned out normal by the way but I could not tolerate the loud noise during the test. I dnt use hearing aids. And I have deviated septum. Does it affect hearing with blockage of nose?
