Am having a problem of masturbate in night when am sleeping unconsciously. My hand goes on its own and I masturbate and after some time when secretion is there then I come in consciousness and find my hand there. Sometime fir many days its normal means There is no such problem but some time its twice in a week. Is it a problem or its normal and if it is a problem how can I cure it?

Hello- There is a whole class of sleep disorders called parasomnias. A parasomnia is any condition that can occur during a given stage of sleep that involves involuntary movements. The most common are things like teeth grinding, sleep talking, walking, eating and night terrors. But less common can include driving, sex (including masturbation). Some minor things you can try on your own - change where you sleep. Try to practice relaxation techniques (exercise followed by a hot bath for example) you might change your diet or stop taking any sleep aids. Don't consume any alcoholic beverages before bed. Reduce the amount of caffeine you take in a day. And try to get a more quality night's rest.
