Sir/Mam I am having some problem in my ear, it seems like my ears are slightly blocked and I am having some mild noise in my right ear. I recently went to an ENT specialist and they told me that I am having bilateral turbinate hypertrophy, they told me that surgery had to be done and said that after the surgery my ear would automatically be cleared of blockages. I had read some article in internet that inferior turbinate hypertrophy would cause empty nose syndrome (ENS, and read that the pain of ENS is unbearable. Is it advisable to do inferior turbinate hypertrophy surgery? .Is empty nose syndrome true?
