I had an intercourse with bf on 1st April 2017 (we used protection and he didn't ejaculate). On 3rd April I experienced some spotting nd it was for 2 days only. And now it's been more than a month, I haven't got my periods yet. As I am the patient of hirsutism, I am on the spironolactone (100 mg daily). Due to this I experience abnormalities in my periods. I want to know that am I really pregnant? OR it is only because of my medicine? Please help.

Dear Lybrate User, As you mentioned your condition, use of protection and no ejaculation may be safe, but still periods not come. It may be delayed because of PCOD medicine or normally it may delay. But its more than 1 month so need to confirm with UPT (Urine Pregnancy Test) and with BHCG (Blood Test). Do it at home and you will get the confirmation. No need to worry but need to confirm by this simple test. For any further clinical assistant kindly revert back to me. Thanking You.
