My baby is 1 years 9 months. His birth weight was 2.2 and now he is 7.5.I am very much worried abt his weight. Hi iz very active. But very thin. Nowadays he is not eating food properly. He will drink milk (Nan pro all d time. One of my friend suggest me abt protein powder. Is DAT good to give now. please help.

your baby is under weight. His expected wt at this age should be about 11 kg. Give him good nourishing diet available in home of his choice n taste including dairy milk and its products. Don't force to eat. Alone protein powder is not going to increase his wt. It is total calories that baby takes.

He is showing failure to thrive and need to check his blood CBC and TSH and hypothyroidism can cause lack of weight gain and if he is feeding from bottle it must be stopped and should be fed with a spoon or cup and breast should be continued.
