About Satranidazole

Satranidazole is a drug that helps to combat a large number of varied health disorders effectively. It can be called an intestinal amoebicide. It can treat a number of intestinal problems caused by amoeba. Satranidazole is also known to be a potent anti-diarrhoeal agent that is beneficial to patients suffering from diarrhoea or irritable bowel syndrome. It is known to inhibit the action of histamine on the proteins, thus preventing complications of the infection such as hepatic amoeabiosis. You must make the doctor aware of any severe disease you had such as any kidney, lungs, liver or cardiac disorders. Take proper medical help in case you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy any time soon or breastfeeding. You must also inform the doctor of any other prescription drugs that you may be taking, such as hormonal pills as oral contraceptives, or any dietary supplements as Satranidazole may interact with the other drugs and cause a number of health complications. It can help in the prevention of serious anaerobic infections and Trichomoniasis. Some side effects include persistent headaches, dryness in the mouth and increased thirst, general weakness in the body, nausea, vomiting, problems in passing of bowels, dizziness but these symptoms should slowly disappear with time.
