About Mefspas Tablet
Mefspas Tablet is primarily used to treat muscle cramps caused during menstruation in women. Patients who suffer from colicky pain due to intestinal, biliary, ureteric colic and women having extreme menstrual pain can consume Mefspas Tablet.
It is a composition of two medicine, Dicyclomine and Mefenamic Acid that helps by inhibiting sudden muscle contractions, to provide relief from cramps, pain, bloating and discomfort during menstruation.
Apart from this, Mefspas Tablet is also helpful in managing pain associated due to any jerk or movement in intestine, gall duct and urinary tract. It relieves pain caused in women during menstrual cycle by relaxing the muscles of the stomach, thus reducing the symptoms of stomach cramping.
It is advisable that people with a history of glaucoma, enlarged prostate, high blood pressure, myasthenia gravis, liver, heart, kidney or thyroid problems consult a doctor before taking medicine. Mefenamic acid blocks the action of Cyclo-oxygenase (COX) which is involved in the production of Prostaglandins. It works by preventing the production of prostaglandins and thereby reduces pain and inflammation.
