Afdicold Drop belongs to a class of drugs known as nasal decongestant. It is used in the treatment of common cold, allergies, hay fever and flu. It provides relief to the nasal passage by shrinking the blood vessels. Afdicold Drop is therefore used in sinus and nasal congestion. It is sometimes also used to treat urinary or stress problems.
On using Afdicold Drop you may experience side effects such as a dry mouth, headache, nausea, constipation, stomach upset, dizziness and drowsiness. Certain severe reactions include seizures, hallucinations, irregular or slow heartbeat and difficulty in breathing.
Before using Afdicold Drop, have a word with your doctor and tell him/her if you have a history of heart, diabetes or thyroid disorders or high blood pressure. Also tell your doctor if you’re pregnant, are planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding a baby.
