Add banana, almonds, peanut butter, beans, green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits in your diet. Do regular yoga and exercise. Take proper sleep and rest. Don't skip any of your meal.

I am suffering irritable bowel syndrome and acidity for last 4 days, I am going to gym and consuming Wight gainer supplement (NRI formulation xtra size gainer). Is there any side effect for this product, can I continue my workouts.

Yes you should not take any food supplement for few days and then see if this corrects your current problems. However I do not recommend any synthetic food products till the time you are bed-ridden OR unable to take the natural source of food and vitamins - green leaf vegetables/fruits/egg/meat/fish.

11 Tips for Weight Loss

Nowadays, everyone is health conscious and wants to look slim, trim and beautiful. Being overweight makes a person look ugly and it is very unhealthy too, hence, it is very important to maintain your health as health is wealth.

It is said that gaining weight is quite easy and losing weight is very hard, sorry to disappoint you but the above statement is very true.

If one wants to lose weight then one must follow a diet plan and exercise plan very rigorously, only then one can lose weight.

If you follow the tips given below religiously then I am sure that you will definitely lose weight but mind you do it without cheating because if you cheat, it will only harm you as you will not lose weight.

Hence, some of the tips to be followed to lose weight and look slim and trim like a model are:

  • Diet is the most important thing to control if one wants to lose weight. Include more green vegetables and colorful fruits in your diet. Avoid oily and spicy foodstuffs. Fast food is a bane to your health while fruits and vegetable are a boon.
  • Eat a breakfast fit for the king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. Eat only fruits, vegetables, salads, oats or soup at night.
  • Fast once a week and give your system a day off.
  • Exercise is the other major aspect while reducing weight. Exercise helps in burning the extra calories you have consumed.
  • Join a gym and workout daily. Make it point to go to gym every day without missing even a single day.
  • One can work without going to the gym too by getting up early and taking a walk or a jog in the local park or by doing yoga and housework like cleaning, dusting and moping the floor.
  • Exercise until you sweat and make sure you take breaks and don’t over workout yourself.
  • Drink plenty of water, green tea and juices.
  • If you don’t like to exercise, then play some sport or join some dance cum workout class like zumba or aerobics.
  • Exercise for minimum 60 minutes per day or until you are exhausted.
  • Do not give in to temptation and consume something oily and spicy or any sweet dish like ice cream or cake or chocolate or anything that you will regret later.

Hence, do follow my instructions faithfully and it is guaranteed that you will lose weight but mind you do follow it properly without any excuses.

Hi lybrate user, firstly be confident the way you are. People keep saying lot of insensitive things. Just say'thank you' to them and keep moving ahead. Medical issues you should do these tests cbc, thyroid profile, sugar profile to rule out any ailments. Take deworming tabs every six months. Diet issues to gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Have lot of fruits and fruit juices. Eat lot of nuts like almonds, cashew, peanuts. Drink full cream milk, curd, cheese, paneer. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken. Go in for more dals, rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid fried foods. Eat healthy go for regular walks and do yoga. Sleep well. Follow these guidelines and you can report progress after 21 days through private questions. Stay cheerful and stay positive.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E.
