Hi lybrate-user, according to your height 5.5" you are 4-5 kg over-weight. It can easily be reduced by following some simple tips like: 1. Have a light & early dinner (by 8: 00 pm).2.Avoid sweets, chocolates, pastries. 3. Avoid junk foods like pizzas, burgers, fried chips, samosas. 4. Have 5-6 equally spaced meals instead of having only 3 heavy meals in a day. 5.Go for 30-45 minutes of brisk walk or exercises.

You did not tell me about the age of the child. Why I ask this is because children born of diabetic mothers have a higher chance of having congenital heart disease and various other congenital diseases. As far as your specific query is concerned, there again you data is incomplete. You did not tell whether your aunt has type 1 diabetes or type 2. However, generally diabetes has a strong genetic predisposition. If one or both of the parents suffer from diabetes, chance of the same in the child increases manifold. Thanks.

Yes its normal but may be indication of some problem. Drink max water, clean stomach by drinking 20 ml erand sneh in warm milk 1 cup for 5 days. U may have some lose motions. Report back.

1.Take natural protein food like fish (salmon), walnut, white meat, brown rice, vegetables like broccoli, tomato, beets. Fruits, green leafy vegetables 2.Avoid processed/spicy/fried/junk food 3.drink at least 2 liter of water daily 4.Avoid exposure to bright sun light. Apply sun screen with SPF more than 45 while going out door 5. Clean your face with cold water twice daily (washing more than that can cause dryness) 6.Avoid stress. Go for regular exercise, do yoga/ pranayama 7. Have adequate sleep (7-8 hours daily) 8.Take vitamin C rich food like grape, strawberry, guava, indian goose berry (Amla), lemon, papaya, sweet potato, cucumber, orange 9.Avoid smoking/drinking 10. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Hi, when a strenuous work is done, our body muscles need more oxygenated blood to perform that work, hence the heart beats faster to supply more blood. This is a normal physiological function in all living beings. Therefore, you need not worry about this. But if the heart beat increases for no reason, then you should get evaluated.
