You need to take high fiber low fat diet followed by detox diet. Drink lot of water everyday. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Avoid outside food completely. Ask me privately for customized diet plan for you.

Hi. Sir am diabetic, am taking glyciphage 50mg 1 at after dinner am vegetarian. My weight is 104kg, like to walk and am walking 3km perday, but now if I walk more my sugar gose down. And take medication for BP talma-am 40mg. I feel hungry everyafter 3 hours. I take full breakfast at 9am. Lunch at 2pm only moong dal and rice and salads. Some snacks at 7 pm. Dinner at 9.30pm. Some bhaji and chapati And curd or chas. But cant reduce my weight. Am I taking right medicine. I check my sugar and bp at every 3-4 months. Please guide me..

Dear let me know your latest sugars. It is very rare to have low blood sugars with only one tablet of glyciphage. Have small frequent meals every 3 hrs. Why dont you try cycling. It ia a very good exercise. Also you need to understand that energy expenditure should be more than energy intake for a successful weight loss. Please consult a dietician for a lesser calorie diet which does not cause weakness.

Doctor, I had taken Ipill on 3rd may (which was the 14th day of my cycle). I have not experienced any spotting or bleeding till now. My next due date is 20th May. I have been having low backache since a week or so, light headache, creamy discharge and also a weight gain of 400 gms after Friday last week. Does these signs indicate any risk? I am a bit worried.

Hello lybrate-user, thank you for your question. Taking the ipill is associated with the side effects you mention. These include abdominal pain, unscheduled bleeding, bloating, period like discomfort, early or late periods and also of course a pregnancy. If you took the ipill within 24 hours of unprotected intercourse you are 95% sure to avoid a pregnancy. Any later and the success rate also reduces. I would suggest that you wait for your period to come. If it is delayed by over 7 days to do a pregnancy test. Your symptoms suggest that your period may be on its way. I would also suggest that you see your local gynaecologist to discuss other reliable methods of contraception if you will be having sex regularly. Ipill is an emergency contraceptive and should only be used for emergencies when your regular contraceptive fails. Your gynaecologist can help discuss what is best for you.

I am giving you few tips for weight loss Do not skip any meals. 1.Avoid too much outside food, fried food and junk food. €2.Avoid papad, pickles, Coconut-peanut chutney. €3.Can eat homemade Paneer sabji, sandwich, paratha. 4.Opt for Brown bread, low fat cheese, skimmed milk, roasted food items. €5.Use skimmed milk in food items as much as possible, sprinkle over cooked sabji and add in milk, soups as thickening agent.
