hi, I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through a dietary therapy. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I have Fatty liver disease as well as pre diabetic symptoms. Currently my weight is 80 Kg and Height is 164 CM so as for this I am obese, I want to lose weight on urgent Basis. So could you please suggest me whether I should go for crash diet or else suggest me a special diet plan. Thank You.

To reduce fat don't have sugar, sweetened juice as these turns into fat. Instead of these take whole fruits, vegetables. These will help you to reduce fat. Take more protein like fish, egg white, cottage cheese, soy milk, soy products, lean chicken etc. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, processed foods etc. Drink water about 3 lit/day. Do regular exercise like swimming, skipping, yoga, push ups, sit ups etc. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Use lukewarm water 5 mins after meals. Take proper sleep.

Good to know that you have started gym. You have to weight train 3 times and cardio 3 times a week. You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, 1st class proteins like eggs, fish, chicken, whey protein powder, paneer, healthy oil like ghee, cold pressed coconut oil, cold pressed til oil, olive oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, white rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

Tips to lose weight  faster: 1. Eat a high-protein breakfast. 2Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice.  3. Drink water a half hour before meals. 4. Choose weight loss-friendly foods (more vegetables and fruits) 5. Eat soluble fiber. 6. Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods.  7. Eat your food slowly. 8. Sleep 7-8 hours 9. Hi, thanks for the query. When it comes to weight/ fat loss it's all about being sensible with food. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 3 times a week or whenever you get the time. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Improve your fiber intake and also drink lots of water. Fiber intake can be increased by eating vegetables like cucumber, watermelon, etc naturally. But an exercise for an hour with floor exercise is a must and shouldTo reduce weight, you should consume more of fibre, protein, omega 3 essential fatty acid rich foods, drink 3-4 cups of green tea, eat small portions at frequent intervals to increase your basal metabolic rate. Don't have gaps bigger than 3 hours in between meals.

Hi lybrate-user acc to your height your weight should be around 50-55. Acc to your present weight you are overweight. Only green tea not help you to loose weight for that you should also follow balance diet acc to your life style. Acc to your calories, acc to your portion size.

Using nutrislim or other such" products" have no magical value. If they help, it may be temporary without sustained lifestyle changes. Excess weight is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. My best wishes.

Diet:-: single fruit diet for weight loss and detoxification! -- take one fruit diet, only banana, for 10-14 days. You can eat as many ripe bananas as you wish but you don't have to take anything else in diet. (banana is fiber rich & high nutrient fruit with a no. Of health benefits. This would detoxify your body and help loose weight naturally). Surya namaskar in morning and evening. Get your thyroid tests done. The complete treatment differs for every individual.
