few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast , khaari ,naan ,white bread . can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and spicy food. And constipation. Early morning-lukewarm water with lemon 1 glass tea without sugar + 2 biscuits breakfast-2 hard boiled eggs + 2 slice brown bread or 2 scrambled eggs + 1 slice brown bread+ skimmed milk 1 cup (240 gm) mid-morning-1 banana/1/2 cup melon/20 grapes lunch-brown rice 1 cup (195 gm) + chicken/dal (100 gm) + mixed vegetables 1/2 cup + salad 1 bowl evening-butter milk 1 cup dinner-1 roti + fish green vegetable (50 gm) + lentils dal 1/2 cup+ raita 1 small bowl.

Hi My husband is facing so much trouble while urinating that it's coming drop by drop and paining so much burning also. He was hospitalized in October last year for urinal infection creatine level had gone to 5.5 He is taking medicines for high bp and diabetics for last 15 years his age is 65 years. He is taking medicine for enlarge prostate glands for last 10 years. Last 10 days he is facing this problem severely Urologist has given silodal D 8 one time What should I do for his pain relief.

Dear lybrate-user, benign hypertrophy of prostate is a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. In this clinical condition multiple nodules are formed inside the prostrate gland. These nodules often compress the urethra resulting in the narrowing of the lumen of urethra & producing a resistance to the urine flow. Resistance to urine flow requires the bladder to work harder during voiding, possibly leading to progressive enlargement, instability, or weakness of the urinary bladder the patient must follow the given medication as directed:- 1) 5 drops of homoeopathic causticum 30 at early morning daily before brushing teeth 2) 5 drops of homoeopathic conium mac 30 before going to bath daily. 3) 5 drops of homoeopathic baryta carb 30 just one hour before dinner daily. 4) homoeopathic mother tincture sabal serrulata q, 30 drops, twice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. Along with the aforesaid medication few changes in the lifestyle of the patient are also necessary. Lifestyle alterations to address the symptoms include decreasing fluid intake before bedtime, moderating the consumption of alcohol and caffeine-containing products, and following a timed voiding schedule. Also it would be better if the patient could void the urine in sitting position.

She has tested negative for pregnancy twice but is late for periods by two weeks. What could be the reason? She has a history of irregular periods too. In the beginning of the year she had periods for 51 days. Gynaec told it's a hormone thing that all will become alright after first pregnancy. Please help.

I agree with the gynaecologist. Irregular periods often cause confusion in whether the girl is pregnant or not. After one pregnancy, the hormones will get balanced and won't be so problematic.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

Eggs contain a good amount of fat, calories, and protein which are popular ingredients for weight gain. Consuming egg whites everyday can give you strong muscles and essential protein and energy. For better results, eat more of the egg white than the yolk, as the former increases your cholesterol level.  Alternatively, you can also eat egg-white omelettes or scrambled egg whites daily in breakfast. Lemon juice helps pimples dry up faster. Dip a clean cotton swab in fresh lemon juice and apply it to the pimples before going to bed. You can also mix one tablespoon of lemon juice with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and put it on the pimples overnight. In the morning, wash the skin well with lukewarm water. Fill a large container with hot water and allow the steam to come in contact with your face for a few minutes. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and, after drying, apply an oil-free moisturizer.

Dear, there are methods by which you can gain height. Do these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. * firststand bare foot on flat surface, now move your heels upwards and raise your arms up. Start walk on the front part of feet with heels upwards. Walkatleast 8-10 steps. Repeat this exercise for 2-3 times in a day. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. You can also adopt the surgical techniques which helps you gaining desired height.

Mr. Lybrate-user, in your case, what doctors said is absolutely correct. Ht is basically depends on genes from parental background.& growth also will be till 20-21 years only. After that mostly once the calcification over, there is no possibility for growth of bones. Try doing long jump, foot ball, basket ball, few exercises under any expert,& taking good proetinaceous diet, d. Calcium rich food. By doing all, there may be chances for further growth, but not sure& 6 ft is not possible. My strong suggestion is do not try to take any medications for growth of ht, especially seen in advertisements.
