USG of right breast showing large hypoechoic SOL (22*15 mm) seen at upper quadrant and one small SOL (10*7 mm) seen in lower quardant. Is it breast cancer?
Hi, it is most unlikely at your age to have breast cancer. Usually breast cancer presents as a single lump. I will need more features to make a diagnosis. Those sol (meaning space occupying lesions) will most likely be fibroadenomas which are benign lumps a caused by the normal changes in the breast with age. They will not turn to cancer. You can confirm it by getting an fnac done. It would be better if you consult a surgeon who can diagnose and treat it. Surgery is the only treatment for fibroadenomas, done if they are painful or large or for cosmetic reasons. Hope this helps. All the best.

Hi, I am 27 years old and I have lypoma. They started emerging when I was 20 and now they are just increasing with each passing day. I must be having over 100 lumps all over my body. What should I do? Wherever I consult, I just get the response that there is no cure. What are the reason for lypoma? Is it advisable to get the lypoma removed through surgery? Is there any way to contain them? Please help. Thank You!
Hi, it must be very distressing to have multiple lipomas but surgical removal is the only cure. The cause for such a condition is unknown. If there are any painful or large lipomas they can be excised surgically which is a minor procedure. Removing all lipomas especially minute one's is very difficult. There is still a chance of recurrence even after surgery though rare. There is no other medicine to contain them.

I am 28 years old women. Before 4 years I took a surgery for lump on my right breast. At the same time a tiny lumps on my left breast too. I took needle biopsy to the both breast at that time. The result is normal. The biopsy result of right breast is also normal. After 6 months of surgery I got married and delivers a child before our first anniversary. My left breast lump is become larger during this period. Am i suspect the left breast lump cancer. I am afraid to a medical examine. Please give me a clarification.
Hi, it is normal for benign breast lumps to enlarge rapidly during pregnancy. They usually don't turn into cancer. They enlarge secondary to the hormonal changes durimg that time and may regress back later. But if you still have a large persistent lump, please do consult a surgeon in person as a clinical examination will reveal a lot more. And if needed you can get it removed. Most importantly, your doubt regardin cancer will be clarified. Hope his helps. Take care.

I have lump in my breast since start teen age sometimes it gets pain. i am worried about. Please help me.
Hi, no need to worry. These lumps are part of normal changes in the breast with age. Sometimes they may be painful especially during menses. If the lump is large or painful, it can be removed surgically. It won't turn into cancer, so don't worry. Consult a surgeon if want to get it removed. Hope this helps. Take care.

I am 25 year old and I want to know about skin cancer, my forehead skin getting black these days. What should I do? is it a symptoms of skin cancer? Please help me.
Hi, darkening of the skin on the forehead is not a symptom of skin cancer. It may be due to compression over the area due to your cap or helmet etc if you use them. Please consult a skin specialist if any of the above don't apply. You nay have to use some cream or ointment for a temporary period. Hope this helps. Take care.

Hello doctor. I'm 29 years old female unmarried. I have 3 small fibroadenomas in my left breast. From past a few days I'm feeling a tiny lump near my nipple in my right breast. I'm worried. Can it be serious. Please reply to me as soon as possible.
Hi, don't worry. Fibroadenomas are lumps formed due to normal changes in the breast with age. If they are large or painful or disfiguring, you can get them removed surgically. It is a small procedure with minimal risk. Hope this helps. All the best.

Iam 22 years old unmarried girl. I have been suffering from irregular periods from jan 2015 and also I have bloated stomach and weight gain.. I have taken hb test hb% -10 gms. Later I have taken hormonal test in which my gynecologist has told me that the luteinizing hormone is slight high i. E 14.92. Wat does it mean is it dangerous? can I get cancer or other deadly diseases? can it b curable? I have gone through internet some are saying it leads to dangerous diseases like cancer. please do reply i am worried thank you in advance.
Hi, let me first reassure tyou that you don't have cancer. Your symptoms are in line with any young girl with menstrual disturbances. Most common cause of such disturbances is hormonal imbalance. Leutinizing hormone is a hormone which has various functions, and its value varies all through your menstrual cycle, peaking during ovulation. So gynecologists do the test to get an idea of the same. You need not worry about that. Just follow whatever medications/ hormonal treatments your gynecologist suggests. Once your cycles become regular, and hormonal imbalances settle down you will improve. Hope this helps. Take care. Regards

Dear , painful lumps of short duration may be due to infectious causes. I assume the duration is also short. Kindly consult a dermatologist.

Dear fibroadenomas form as a part of normal changes which take in the breast during it formation and development. They can be left alone as many of them will subside by themselves over time. If they do persist after a certain age like 30-35 yrs, they can be removed surgically.

I am suffering from fibroadenoma since a long time but I have been taking homeopathy medicine since last six months. The time I take medicine my tumour is in small size but if I stop taking it, my tumour grows. What should I do to remove the tumour completely except having a surgery?
Dear there is no other option than getting it removed surgically for complete relief. There is always a chance given your age and description that the lump may subside by itself over a period of time (usually years). But it also possible that it may not regress on its own. If it is causing you distress, surgical removal is ideal.

My uncle 44yrs age. Diabetic under control. Has been diagnosed after pelvic ultrasound, with inflamed Left Inguinal lymph node in medial region of about 18mmx8mm. Please advise.
Dear if you donot have any symptoms and the lymph node was identified incidentally on ultrasound, then it can be left alone. But if you do have symptoms like pain, fever, enlarged lymph node which can be felt, it may be due to infection and antibiotics may be needed. Better to consult a surgeon only if you have symptoms otherwise, leave it alone.

I want to know that blood cancer treatment/medicine is found or not? because nowadays in social networking sites a message is forwarding that in pune" blood cancer" medicine found.
Dear there is a medicine for a type of blood cancer known as chronic myeloid leukemia (cml). The name of the drug is imatinib mesylate (not imatenef as seen in those messages). It has improved the chance of survival for this group of patients by a big margin compared to previous treatments. Regards

I am 30 years old and I am giving breast feeding to my 3 months baby. I observed a small painful lump in my left armpit during my second pregnancy in 9 month, but it disappeared after delivery. Now recently 3 days back I observed the same lump in the same area which is painful. I pressed the lump between the tips of forefinger and thumb it is moving under the skin like ball and it is pea size and deeper too. After sometime pus came from the lump in light yellow colour. Is it dangerous lump or cancer. Iam very much worried about the lump. Did I have to go doctor checkup? which doctor should I go through please clarify my doubts and help me.
Dear , as per your description, you seem to have lymph nodal enlargement in your axilla. Please don't worry regd cancer, as it most likely will be infectiveinfective as it is draining pus. Most probable reason could be nipple crackling and infection which is common in he post partum period. Best would be to consult a general surgeon as you would require drainage of the abscess / fluid under antibiotic cover. He/ she would also tell you he cause and management accordingly. Regards

I am 29 years old male, and having prostate problem, can you please tell me the reason of this disease and what I should avoid in future. Please advise medicine and food supplements.
Dear , the most common problem a 29 year old can have is prostatitis that is an infection. I assume you have consulted a doctor as you say that you have a problem with your prostate which cannot be known unless you do per rectal examination, ultrasound and urine examination. Most commonly it is secondarily effected from a urinary tract infection, and some sexually transmitted diseases. Treatment would primarily include antibiotics and analgesics. Healthy diet, good hygiene and protection during sexual exposure are important to avoid recurrences. Regards

Hi, yes early stage oral cancer can be permanently cured if the risk factor like tobacco chewing and smoking etc are stopped. Up to 30% of advanced cancers may also be cured with appropriate treatment.
