To decrease weight try the tips:: 1. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 2. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 3. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 4.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. 5.Drink 15 glasses of water daily. Get T3,T4, TSH tests done to rule out thyroid disorder.

5 Remedies for Sun Tan

Tanning of the skin, though desired by some, completely mars the complexion of few.  In a tropical country like India, sun tanning is a serious problem, one that often times calls for medical intervention.  In fact a host of homemade remedies have also emerged to combat with this problem. Some of the remedies for sun tanning are:

  1. Cucumber juice: The advantages of cucumbers do not end with its nutritional values. In fact most of its well acknowledged benefits pertain to beauty more than health care. In instances of tanning, try applying cucumber juice. This will not only help in lessening the effects of the tan but will also give a fresh glow to the face.
  2. Potato: It is unanimously agreed upon that potato is the most versatile vegetable. Irrespective of the dish, this vegetable almost always finds its way in it. It is only good news, therefore that it benefits the skin as well. In order to remove the tan, you must peel the potato and rub the skin on the face. An alternative way of maximizing the utility of the vegetable is by applying the juice of potato on the areas which are affected. 
  3. Sandalwood powder: The goodness of sandalwood requires no introduction. It takes good care not only of the health, but also of the skin. Even in the case of tanning, grind the sandalwood and mix it with almond oil and cucumber and apply the mixture.
  4. Aloe vera gel: This is one of the most trusted remedies of sun tanning. The aloe vera gel must be applied on the skin on a daily basis to retain the moisture in the skin and also to soothe it. For best results, mix some lemon juice in the aloe vera gel. 
  5. Yoghurt and lemon: The advantages of yoghurt are aplenty, benefitting especially the skin. If mixed with lemon, the consequent paste bleaches the skin and significantly diminishes all the effects of tanning.

Underweight is a term describing a person whose body weight is considered too low to be healthy. The definition usually refers to people with a body mass index (BMI) of under 18.5 a weight 15% to 20% below that normal for their age and height group. You are having mouth sores. As it is since 7 days. You might be having complain of constimpation probably. I would suggest you to take folic acid tablet for 1 day .just take 2 tablets and crush it in your mouth especially at ulcer site. It will definately help.

For prevention of hair loss follow below mention tips. Do not share your towel or comb with other people. Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses (soyabin is best for hair), egg, green leafy vegetables, fishes, fruits and nuts etc. Avoid stress and anger, drink more water (12 to 15 glass per day), for prevention of fungal infection in scalp wash your hair regularly with some good shampoo. Pimples - Tips To Help You Manage Them!

Pimples are the bane of a teenager’s life. Pimples or acne are caused when an oily substance called sebum produced by the skin clogs pores. This provides a fertile breeding ground for bacteria and before you know it, pimples pop up. Though they are not a health risk, severe acne can cause permanent scars. So it’s best to prevent pimples rather than deal with the skin blemishes and scars due to it.

Read on for hot tips for managing pimples

  1. Keep your face clean: Wash face twice to remove grime, dead skin cells, and extra oil from skin surface which can breed bacteria and cause pimples. Washing more often than twice daily can be counterproductive, though. Always use warm and not hot water as the heat can strip oils from the skin and cause premature ageing. Try also to stick to a mild facial cleanser in favour of a harsh soap. Men should avoid deodorant body soaps as these can irritate the already inflamed skin.
  2. Don't scrub: If you have pimples, don’t scrub your face with an exfoliating glove or coarse cloth. This can help spread the infection to the other parts of the skin. Use a soft cloth instead.
  3. Moisturize: If you use products to get rid of pimples, they can leave your skin dry and stretchy. Use a moisturiser to minimise dryness and skin peeling. Look for "noncomedogenic" on the label of moisturisers, which means they will not cause pimples.
  4. Use an over-the-counter acne product to tackle pimples: These can be bought without a prescription and contain ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or lactic acid, which curb bacteria and remove excess oil from the skin. These products can cause drying or peeling of skin so start with a small amount at first. You can also use topical retinoid gel which prevents pimples from forming. Use this gel sparingly if you have sensitive skin.
  5. Stay off makeup during a pimple breakout: Avoid wearing foundation, powder, or blush as these are especially harmful. If you do have to wear makeup, wash it off before sleeping at night. Choose oil-free cosmetics without added dyes and chemicals and one which are labelled as "noncomedogenic". Always read the ingredients list on the product label before buying.
  6. Watch products that you use on your hair: Avoid using oils, pomades, or gels on your hair. These can irritate your skin if they get on your face. Always use a gentle shampoo and conditioner. If you have oily hair, keep them off your face as they can add more oil to your face. Wash your hair often, especially if you're breaking out.
  7. Don’t pick and squeeze pimples: This can make your pimple breakout worse. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Dermatologist.

Diet during Ramadan fasting / ramzan should be well balanced, consisting of all the food groups before dawn (sehri or suhur). This will help in avoiding, fatigue, restlessness, and vomiting sensations due to hunger at bay. Meal Timings Food/ Menu Supplements Meal One (Saheri) On rising (within 10 mins) Before Fajar Banana or any fresh fruit OR handful of dry fruits Omelet + toast OR Bhakri/ roti + sabzi OR Roti + milk OR Paratha + curd OR Fruit yogurt (homemade) + poha/ dosa /upma/ khakra any homemade breaakfast Vit C & Vit B Meal Two Iftaar Dates + Fresh fruit OR homemade fruit yogurt + Glass of nimbu pani or chaas or kokam (fruit from kokan) serbet or bel ka (popular in north india) sherbet (all homemade pls) Meal Three Post Magrib Homemade Poha/Seviyan/Dalia / roti + sabzi + dal / rice + dal + sabzi/ rice + fish/ chicken + sabzi/ veg pualo + raita/ rice with rajma/ chole + dahi / paratha + dahi / khakra + moong / appam/ dosai with veggies Antioxidants (vit E, selenium, zinc, chromium) Meal Four Post the big namaaz / late evening Lassi OR Khichdi OR Prot shake OR glass of milk OR paneer with veggies Bedtime Calcium citrate 1000 mg Water Atleast 3-3.5litres between iftaar & fajar Add electrolytes if dehyd Post wo Fruit + prot shake Vit C, Vit E – To avoid feeling hungry during the long hours of fast, one must include a lot of complex carbohydrates along with good fibre. Brown rice, oats, whole wheat flour, Barley, millet, semolina, beans, unpolished rice, and lentils provide plenty of complex carbs. – Diet during Ramadan fasting should consist of good quality protein. It is observed that during long fasting, if protein is overlooked, one may face problems like dry and rough skin and hair, hair fall. Eating Eggs, chicken, lamb, chicken, sea food, lentils and dairy will do the trick. – Eat a lot of green salads, vegetables and fruits. This will help you get all the needed fibre and vitamins. – Keeping the body hydrate is another big challenge during this fast. Fruit juices, buttermilk and water should be consumed after sunset and before dawn; this will help the body to maintain its fluid balance,
