Hi. I understand your concerns. You might be having allergic rhinitis and asthma. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigations like pulmonary function test which is needed for diagnosis and also to assess severity of asthma based on which treatemnt can be started. Sir/Mam, I am a regular smoker. I smoke 20 cigarettes a day and I want to get rid of this habit. I can't chew chewingums like Nicorette as I have a CAP in my tooth during RCT TREATMENT. Hi I will prescribe some harmless but effective flower remedy available in homoeopathy shops. Try to buy original medicines. Mix 3 drops of rock water + 3 drops of impatiens + 3 drops of beech + 3 drops of vine. Mix these with 100 ml water and drink it every morning and night.(same dose).

You have a fear-related complex that is heading towards obsession. This can get serious if neglected. The fear of people is an unfounded emotion and may have developed from sometime in your childhood perhaps or because it could be a family trait or behavior. We are all social animals and need to learn to live and be with people all through our lives. If this is crippling you, you need to meet with a counselor and sort out this fear of people. The counselor will guide you and help you will some measures to build self-image, self-esteem and to learn to love yourself. You need to believe that people are basically good and the threat you envisage may be ill-founded on some misconstrued notion developed over many years and experiences. Anyway, you must deal with your fear of people and it will be the best solution to your problem. You need to change your perception of the fearful stimulus then you can change your response to the fear. The first one is the best and will preempt the need for the second. If you are already far gone into the reaction mode, then you need both responses to counter the attack. The way we see things in life (like half empty or half full glass) is very dependent on our attitude. Attitude may have developed over many years but fortunately, can change in a matter of sustained choices made and acted upon now. Accordingly, you choose to see things as either threatening or as an opportunity. The opportunist will be positive and will work with the situation to make good out of it. The individual who sees it as threatening, will, out of fear, try to avoid/run away from the situation or react with anxiety. Yes, self-belief does impact it too, but you can see that prior to that, perception will tarnish the belief system too. Here, you can see that all the resolution lies in just changing your perception/attitude, even if it is against odds. Changing your response, despite the perception, is building up of your reserves and resources to handle any contingency that life throws up at you. And life throws up situations quite regularly and heavily. In the meantime do some confidence building exercises by attending a personality development course, public speaking skills course (I suggest you join the Toastmasters Club), work out at a gym to build good self-image, and join social events to practice your skills. Surprisingly many people are often in the same boat as you, and so you are not alone. The very people you are intimidated by may be afraid of you too, though not to this extent! There are three important developments to have to create an autonomous personality: Awareness, intimacy, and spontaneity. If you are super aware or too conscious of yourself, it will affect the intimacy and spontaneity. Although your problem is now directly to do with intimacy, you can see that they are all connected. Go and work on these matters with a counselor for this level of social panic to disappear from your life for good.

Hi Take brahmi vati...smriti sagar ras and praval panchamrit..make its powder and mix it.....then take these medicines with honey twice a day...1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep....do pranayama early morning for freshness..avoid oily food...junk food.....avoid alcohol consumption...eat green vegetables.........walk for at least 45 minutes a day

I think I have a anxiety issues. I can't handle situations with much ease. I panic and react a lot. I have been taking non prescribed medicines without any consent. I have severe head ache sometimes. Especially when I cry. I have breathing problem when I climb normal stairs.

You should never play around with medication without consultation with a doctor. You will also need to go for a thorough medical examination to see the cause for the other problems you are having. Your symptoms may have manifested itself at late adolescence and were indicative that there was something in your childhood that has precipitated them. If you know of what that is then meet with a counselor to work on that contributing factor. If you combined counseling with the medication you can expect the best outcomes for your anxiety disorder. However, you must be episode-free for at least three years before the doctor will decide on weaning you off of the medication but in a gradual and effective manner. Counseling will help in training you will skills and techniques to cope with the daily challenges in life and will give you a fair chance to manage your life when the reduction in medicines is initiated by the doctor. You must also develop your constitution to make it fit enough to cope with fear, felt many times unnecessarily. This involves physical fitness through exercise, good rest (sleep), and a proper diet. Mental stability can be achieved by learning a few skills in handling emotions in an appropriate manner. Stress management skills, which have a lot to do with expressing emotions, will need to be a major part of your recovery program. Please persevere and cooperate through all the support you need and you will come through successfully.

The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary but true. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest.

Nothing is particular cause for stammering, you consult doctor to get medicine but also consult the speech therapist and evaluate your stammering then take continues speech therapy, slow your rate of speech whenever you talking someone, take a small breath to start the words, practice the relaxation and breathing exercises at home. Less your nervousness and freely mixed with your friend but you must take speech therapy, after speech therapy it will be curable.

Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and or callisthenic exercise with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. The right brain also indulges in a lot of lateral thinking, which is normally good for creativity. But in your case it will creatively increase the problem and make you more disturbed. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling.
