Hello. To start with, badminton as a sport puts a lot of strain on your knee, you will end up with some or the other minor niggles around the knee if you do not strength your muscles around the knee joint. Am sure the consultant did not find any abnormality in the X-ray so don't worry jus start knee strengthening exercises which will keep your knee safe.

lybrate-user, You have approx. 20 kgs to lose. Considering a realistic weight loss of 2 kgs per month it may take you approx. 8 to 10 moths to lose this excess weight. No one can follow any diet plan for this long a period. Hence, a better option would be: 1) avoid sweets, deep fried stuff and rice 2) reduce the portion of your meal intake by 50% and replace with plenty of salads/sprouts. 3) Increase water intake 4) Walk walk walk. 60 minutes, brisk and without a break everyday. There is nothing called as easy weight loss However we do have bariatric surgery, but I would not recommend it for you now, as you can definitely have good results with diet and exercise. I would recommed certain blood tests to be done to rule out any vitamin and mineral defeciencies, before you start your diet.
