If it is Arthritis, ther is no Permanent cure. YOu can only control pain with medicines. No pathy can cure Arthritis. You can control it only with Diet and Medicines.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. We remain seated most of the time and stand for very short periods of time. Unfortunately walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homeopathic medicines are very helpful. Gentle massage over the affected part with lukewarm herbal pain relieving oil for 20 minutes followed by hot fomentation. It will relax the muscles and the veins of your affected part improving the blood supply to the organ and giving strength to it. Please avoid over-use of the part affected i. E. Lifting weight - pushing or pulling heavy objects. Give proper rest to the part - let it heal with the time. This will greatly help.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

Since you are a badminton player, your symptoms could be due to ligament injury. You would require an MRI to ascertain that. But first of all get yourself examined by either a Rheumatologist or an orthopedician.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Neck advice hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

What exactly is a spine block injection? Will it work long-term for low back pain due to disc problems?
Spine block injection is a technique of injecting a cocktail of pain reliving medicines in the epidural space (space around the spinal nerves). There are different methods of doing this, like caudal route, posterior epidural route, transforaminal route. Long term relief can be achieved in many patients if the root is not too much compressed and in neuritis pain. Transforaminal route offers best result in unilateral pain.

Hi, it seems you are suffering from 1. Gastritis or hepatitis 2. Take an antacid 3-4 tsf 8 hrly 3. Get a blood investigation - liver function test done 4. Avoid fatty, oily meals 5. No fast food, no momos and samosas 6. No tea and coffee 7. Lots of water 8. Walk after meals 9. Eat less at nights 10. No soft drinks, hard drinks and no smoking lots of no for a better belly and even better life. Recommended a private consultation.

Ankle Sprain: Causes, Symptoms and Treatment!

An ankle sprain can make life miserable. A sudden twist or stretching (due to incorrect walking, incorrect posture, wearing high heels, walking on an uneven and rough surface, exercise, games) can result in ligament(s) tear (partial or complete tear), affecting the ankle. An ankle sprain is often confused with a twisted ankle. However, the two are different as chalk and cheese. A sprained ankle can be extremely painful, taking few weeks to months to heal completely (depending on the severity).

Symptoms:

An ankle sprain is independent of age and sex, affecting anyone and everyone under the sun. The symptoms characteristic of an ankle sprain includes:

  1. The affected region of the ankle may swell up immediately.
  2. Difficulty in walking. In severe forms, a person may find it difficult to place a step.
  3. The area appears bruised and tender.
  4. Excruciating pain and discomfort (severe case).
  5. Stiffness and, in some cases, discoloration of the skin around the tear.

At no point should the sprain be taken lightly. Seek medical assistance at the earliest. Negligence on your part can aggravate the situation. In extreme cases, an ankle sprain can add to your agony and discomfort, affecting the joints, bones, blood vessels, tendons, and cartilage.

Diagnosis and Treatment:

Diagnosis:

Accurate diagnosis can make the treatment effective, thus accelerating the recovery process. In case of an ankle sprain;

  1. Physical examination of the affected area and a thorough case study is an important diagnostic step followed by many doctors.
  2. X-ray of the affected ankle region can help in a better and more accurate diagnosis.

Treatment:

The course of treatment depends on the extent of the damage. In case of a minor sprain, doctors mostly recommend

  1. Keeping the affected ankle area bandaged (ACE bandage) and well protected. A crutch or a brace is a blessing for people who face difficulty in walking.
  2. Time and again, apply a cold compress on the sprained ankle. A cold compress can help reduce the swelling effectively.
  3. In case of extreme pain and swelling, your doctor may recommend an acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen
  4. Rest as much as possible. While sleeping, use cushions or pillows to keep the leg elevated.

In rare cases where the sprain refuses to heal and becomes unresponsive to the above treatment, doctors may recommend an Arthroscopy or a Reconstruction surgery.

Precaution and Care:

A little alertness and agility on your part can help to deal with an ankle sprain better.

  1. In the case of a severe sprain, try and avoid self-medication as much as possible. It can do you more harm than good.
  2. Exert minimum or no pressure on the affected ankle area.
  3. Indulge in some strengthening exercise as recommended by your physician. It is advisable that you warm up before any exercise.
  4. Avoid heavy, strenuous work as much as possible.
  5. Wearing correct footwear is important. Women who have had an ankle sprain should avoid wearing heel shoes. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Orthopedist.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines. *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc.

It might be of degenerative changes in the joint or of pathological reasons do take ust and ift for pain relief for 12 days followed by strengthening exercise from neuro physiotherapist apply hot water fomentation thrice a day for 6 days regularly do revert for further assistance best wishes.
