Hi Lybrate user weight loss can be acheived if you to need to follow a proper diet and physical activity weight loss tips 1. Avoid much outside food, fried food and junk food. 2.Avoid papad, pickles, Coconut-peanut chutney. 3.Can eat homemade Paneer sabji, sandwich, paratha. 4.Opt for Brown bread, low fat cheese, skimmed milk, roasted food items. 5.Use skimmed milk in food items as much as possible, sprinkle over cooked sabji and add in milk, soups as thickening agent. Are bananas really your ticket to weight loss?

Bananas are your friends, truly!

Bananas as against the age old myth can really help in your weight loss process. A medium sized banana has a number of healthy nutrients that can help you in losing weight. A 100gm banana has about 90 calories, 3 gm of fiber and 23 gm of carbohydrates. It is a filling and satiating snack and can really give you a good dose of nutrients in minimum calories. Coming to the reasons that make this fruit an ideal weight loss food option, here are a few reasons:

1. Boosts your body's metabolic rate while controlling your appetite

Unripe bananas contain a form of starch known as resistant starch that slows down the digestion process. It works by feeding the healthy bacteria in your gut, causing oxidation of the fat tissues and suppression of your hunger pangs. According to findings published in a study, if you replace 5% of your carbohydrate requirement with a food rich in resistant starch, it can result in about 30% of fat burning post your meal.

2. Rids you of your bloating complaints

Since this fruit contains a good amount of potassium, it can help in diminishing water retention, thereby reducing the instances of belly bloat.

3. Forms the bulk of your fiber intake

Being a good source of fiber, having bananas every day can help in improving your digestion and subsequently aid in weight loss. The first step in regulating periods is figuring out what is causing an irregular menstrual cycle. Once the cause is known, the treatment can be more effective. However, the following foods may help to regularize the menstrual cycle: 1. Omega-3 fatty acids The blood vessels in your ovaries are tiny, which makes them vulnerable to damage and poor circulation. Smoking, obesity, and high cholesterol can negatively affect your ovarian blood vessels, which blocks hormones and blood flow. Fish oils enhance blood circulation, reduce damage from free radicals, fight the effects of aging, and increase dopamine (which improves the mood!). 2. Non-white foods Most natural foods are not white, so it can be assumed that if a food is white, it is probably processed to the point of being unhealthy! To make the menstrual cycle regular, avoiding white flour, sugar, white potatoes, white bread, white pasta, and white rice may help as they tend to disrupt the menstrual cycle by creating insulin surges that result in fat storage. This excess fat storage negatively affects ovulation and the periods. 3. Protein Proteins are good for enhancing fertility and hormonal balance: almonds, walnuts, peanuts, cheese, hard boiled eggs, soy products, hummus, fish 4. Vitamin D This vitamin improves communication between the cells, which stabilizes hormones. Vitamin D is also vital in cancer protection – especially breast, colon, ovarian, and prostate cancers. Eating vitamin D-fortified milk products, cereals like oats, wheat flakes, cornflakes, tuna, egg yolks, salmon, sardines, shiltake mushrroms can help. The best option for Indians being daily exposure to sunlight for 15 minutes between 10.00 am – 2.00 pm as most of the Indian population is vegetarian or eggetarian. 5. Dark chocolate Chocolate contains flavenoids, which have estrogen-like activity and help improve circulation by reducing platelet clumping, Flavenoids also enhance microcirculation in the ovaries and endocrine glands, and increase dopamine (a “feel good” hormone). Eating a dark chocolate that contains at least 70% cocoa solids helps.

You are over weight weight is loos by decrease intake means food intake and increase out put means increase physical activities. Calculate calories intput and out put take following remedies 1. Barleys soup at the time of lunch nad dinner 2. Have your dinner at 7.30 pm and sleep at 10.30am 3. Exersise atleast 45 min 4. Eat all fruit-vegetable [ex. 1) If you are taking meal 2 times a day, you can have the same 4 times in divided doses. 2) Try to avoid gluten containing food like bread, pizza, and burger. 3) Always eat fresh food. 4) No oily & junk food. 5) You can have sprouts, salads, fruits or fruit juice in breakfast rather than bread, toast or artificial protein shake. 6) Don’t eat immediately after exercise or yoga. 7) Stretching exercises 10 minutes. 8) Brisk walk 5 km daily or 25 minutes 9) Yoga- surya namaskar & different yogasana for 25 minutes.

Here are some diet tips 1. Eat high fibre food avoids eating food in simple sugar form 2. Eat fresh fruits instead of fruit juices. Fruits are good source of fibre except banana mango, chiku. 3. Try to avoid deep fried food and oil containing food. Control your fat consumption in your routine diet 4. Avoid bakery products, sweets. 5. Have plenty of water at least 3 lt/day 6. At least half hour walk/day.
