Gargle with lukewarm water with little salt added in it two times. Drink lukewarm water, take homeopathic apo-tuss drop, 15 drop in half cup of water three times daily and give the feed back after one week.

Hi, I am 41 year old male, 88 kg. I have been diagnosed with high BP 140/100 2 months before (I was under huge work related stress that time) and taking nebicard 2.5 for a month, and then doctor added tazloc 20 as well. My BP now is 115/75 range. I am doing regular exercise about 45 min everyday. Is there any chance that I can maintain my BP only be change in life style and exercise, without medication.

Yes you can Discontinue telma now Keep doing exercises and diet control Keep Check on BP regularly If its within normal range after a month you can discontinue nebi also.

Following are the tips to prevent onset/or control diabetes 1-Losing Extra Weight: helps lower your blood pressure and cholesterol too. waist of more than 80 cm in women & 90 cm in man are at risk 2- Constant and regular food timings :improves metabolic activity and helps reducing weight. 3- Split meals and eat in moderate amount 4- No long Gaps and skipping of meals:-Never miss out breakfast. 5- No overeating:-Never eat in a bulk on one time Remember to eat food slowly & chew well. 6- Proper Exercise and work outs: regular brisk walking for 30 min. five times a week is best .Cycling, swimming, dancing can also be done. Do not eat right away after a workout . 7-constant and regular timings for medication 8-Avoid fried foods ,meat,fats and sweets.  9- Take high-fibre and complex carbohydrates:-like oats and include high-fiber carbohydrates like wheat bran, flaxseed and methi seeds to your wheat flour .Add whole grain foods in your diet. Avoid white bread, pasta, pizza , candies, and snacks . 10-Drink enough fluids:-Keep your body well hydrated.  11.Fresh vegetables and fruits: .Include sprouts in the diet as they are easily digestible

Dear lybrateuser, -The solution to your problem is that you stop drinking altogether, stop drinking at the point where your problem starts as this is a adverse reaction to the alcohol intake, it can become serious like dizziness, headache & collapse, so better would be to avoid intake.

Dietary and other lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm hg. This eating plan is known as the dietary approaches to stop hypertension (dash) diet. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. If you're overweight, losing even 3 kgs can lower your blood pressure. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. Plenty of fluids orally. I suggest brisk walking for 40 mins, 5 days a week. Remain stress free as much as possible. Take your medicines regularly. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. My Cardiologist has advised not to take any greasy, oily stuff in the food, but you advise the other way for the Ghee. I have two stents installed in my arteries and doing pretty well. I am overwhelmed with bewilderment and stunned. Do you have clinical proofs to assert your observations? Like researcher. Dear Much of the research quoted by our specialist is done in the West where fat in food indicates non Veg fat. Veg oils, seed oils do not have cholesterol like non Veg fats. This is the basic mistake in translating the research done. Cow ghee is well researched for the health benefits. You will find clinical. And medical research in many websites. Try net search. Causes of High BP: * High salt intake * Excess consumption of Alcohol, coffee * Obesity (overweight) * Lack of Exercise (sedentary lifestyle) * Due to lack of sleep. * Due to Anxiety To control or maintan BP normal there are some instructions are given below: •Do not take salt in high amount or try to avoid it because high sodium level increase BP. • Eat less amount of pickle and fast food, fast food contain high sodium. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of coffee and tea both increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily. • Do exercise daily, jogging and long walk. • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Avoid taking too much fat foods such as butter, cheese, ghee. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. Eat an apple daily.
