I am a 26years male with height 173cm and with weight 80kg. I am trying my best for the past 3months to reduce my weight for atlest 5kg. But even after a strict diet containing the following, I still can not able to reduce my weight, even by 1kg. It still stands at 80kg. I even had a regular workout at gym, which will be from 45min to 1hour continues workout. My daily intake will be as follows: * 1/2 liter oats soup with chicken for morning. * no rice at afternoon, but will have seeds like grown peanut, dal & beans seeds. For total of 150-250gm. * evening before workout, I will have 2 regular size banana with tea * after workout, as dinner I use to have 2 wheat rotti with 2 omelet and peanut butter. This is my diet and I am strictly following it. I still use to have a min of 4ltr of water each day. Kindly advice me, what am I doing wrong. And forgot, my job is a desk job, but still I walk around 4-6km a day.

Hi Nipin Its gud that you are doing this much efforts to reduce you weight. But the only thing is that if you do all this with a proper guidance than you will definately reduce your weight soon. ******You are following totally a wrong diet. on one hand you are doing this much of gyming and walking which is very gud but on the other hand you your self is ruining it by yourself. **** if you want a proper diet chart than you can consuly me privately and surely get a gud diet chart. Dont follow the diet prescribed by the gym trainer bcoz these kinds of diet charts generally given by them. these have negative effect also when you leave gym you will start gaining weight. For reducing weight, healthy diet and exercise together are the best method.some general guidelines are: 1. Have right food in right quantity at right time. 2. Take small and frequent 5-6 meals a day. 3. Drink plenty of fluids. 4. Avoid fried foods. 5. Eat more of fruits and vegetables. 6. Regular exercise and brisk walk. 7. Sound sleep and rest. 8. Avoid refined cereals like maida, rice etc.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals.When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

You are underweight also. Get thyroid profile, cbc blood test + sugar test, chest x ray, monteaux test & gt back here with reports. Tests for heart will be suggested later after ruling out the cause of being underweight like anemia, infections of a thyroid disease.

You need to modify lifestyle, food habits and balance your appetite, digestion, excretion. Aam (mucus) which is accumulated in intestines is one of the major causes of this kind of situation. First of all start drinking hot water boiled with ginger, black pepper for few weeks. Eat light food. Start deep breathing in the morning.

For hair fall take tab. Keraglo men once daily for 3 months. Use hair spray Qilib men solution 6-8 sprays once daily at night for one month. Check blood test for Thyroid.

This could be due to lumbar spondylosis with nerve root compression. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated.

It can be inflammatory in nature, due to an underlying systemmic cause or a generalized deficiency. Do not try to double-task, this will increase your errors and divide your attention. Attention is limited. When you try to do several things at once, you necessarily have to divide your attention and thus concentrate less on each individual tasks. Use meditation. Several studies have shown that meditation can be a good brain training tool that affects especially attentional / concentration skills.

hello, DIET I. Water, soda water or green coconut water should be sipped to compensate for loss of fluids. Ice may be sucked to reduce temperature and prevent vomiting. Intravenous infusions of saline solution in case of dehydration. II. Green coconut water, barley water and buttermilk may be given after the acute stage. Softened rice mixed with curd may be given after progress towards recovery. More liquid and bland foods may be introduced gradually. III. After complete recovery, gradually embark upon a well balanced diet on the following lines:- 1. Upon arising: A glass of lukewarm water with half a freshly squeezed lime and a teaspoon of honey. 2. Breakfast: Fresh fruits such as apple, orange, grapes, papaya, mangoes, a cup of fresh milk, sweetened with honey or buttermilk. 3. Lunch: A bowl of steamed vegetables, whole wheat wheat tortilla with butter and a glass of buttermilk. 4. Mid-afternoon: A glass of fresh fruit or vegetable juice or sugarcane juice. 5. Dinner: A bowl of fresh green vegetable salad, with limejuice dressing, sprouted seeds and fresh homemade cottage cheese or a glass of buttermilk. Especially Beneficial: Lemon (Lemon) juice, Leaves and Flowers of Peach (Flowers of peach), Onion and Root Bark of Guava (Guava).

Does having 450 ml of Drinks once in a week harmful in diabetes? What is more preferable Rum? Whisky? Or Beer?
Mr. Lybrate-user, alcohol in any quantity is not beneficial in diabetes. 450 ml per week is a fairly large quantity when drinks like rum or whisky is considered as here is higher alcohol concentration in both. Beer 450 ml is not such a large quantity. However, alcohol gives empty calories, masks hypoglycemic awareness. Plus it does affect liver in the long run leading to alcoholic fatty liver disease and later its consequences. So in my opinion lesser quantity (about 180 ml per week) may be ok if drinks other than beer are consumed.
