You should go for 45 minutes brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes. You should do abdominal exercise, don't take rice at night and don't take oily food. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Take sprouts and fruits. Take salad before meals. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.

1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg, then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans, soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories.----------- 2. Eat custard apple (saripa, sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie.------------- 3. Healthy fats: avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in india give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola).---------- 4. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds.----------- 5. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates.----------- 6. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories.---------- 7. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty.---------- 8. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles. ------------------------ 9. Non vegetarian foods--------- some of the non-vegetarian foods that help increase weight are given below:---- 1. Red meat ------ 2. Pork, ------ 3. Fish: eat two portions of salmon, or tuna every day.------- 4. Shrimps: the nutrients and necessary acid content present in shrimps gives healthy calories.- 5. Chicken breast chicken breast, is supposed to be the healthiest and non-fat part which has approximately 78 calories for each serving.-------- 6. Whole eggs: eggs are loaded with protein, vitamins a, d and e.--------

Suffering from recurrent depression for last 8-9 years and have been on medication. The dosage is like - duzela 20 & Milnace 25 in the morning and Duzela 20, Milnace 50 & petril 0.25 mg. Is this too high a dosage for my age and what can be done to overcome this. Physical exercise am already doing. But the medicines have only increased over a period of time. What else can be done so that medicines do not increase further.

Being depressed can make you feel helpless. You're not. Along with therapy and sometimes medication, there's a lot you can do on your own to fight back. Changing your behavior -- your physical activity, lifestyle, and even your way of thinking -- are all natural depression treatments. These tips can help you feel better -- starting right now. 1. Get in a routine. If you’re depressed, you need a routine, as Depression can strip away the structure from your life. One day melts into the next. Setting a gentle daily schedule can help you get back on track. 2.Set goals. When you're depressed, you may feel like you can't accomplish anything. That makes you feel worse about yourself. To push back, set daily goals for yourself. "Start very small, "Make your goal something that you can succeed at, like doing the dishes every other day. As you start to feel better, you can add more challenging daily goals. 3. Exercise. It temporarily boosts feel-good chemicals called endorphins. It may also have long-term benefits for people with depression. Regular exercise seems to encourage the brain to rewire itself in positive ways, Just walking a few times a week can help. 4. Eat healthy. It's a good idea to watch what you eat. If depression tends to make you overeat, getting in control of your eating will help you feel better. Although nothing is definitive, there's evidence that foods with omega-3 fatty acids (such as salmon and tuna) and folic acid (such as spinach and avocado) could help ease depression. 5. Get enough sleep. Depression can make it hard to get enough shut-eye, and too little sleep can make depression worse. Start by making some changes to your lifestyle. Go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Try not to nap. Take all the distractions out of your bedroom -- no computer and no TV. In time, you may find your sleep improves. 6. Take on responsibilities. When you’re depressed, you may want to pull back from life and give up your responsibilities at home and at work. Don't. Staying involved and having daily responsibilities can help you maintain a lifestyle that can help counter depression. They ground you and give you a sense of accomplishment. If you're not up to full-time school or work, that’s fine. Think about part-time. If that seems like too much, consider volunteer work. 7. Challenge negative thoughts. In your fight against depression, a lot of the work is mental -- changing how you think. When you're depressed, you leap to the worst possible conclusions. The next time you're feeling terrible about yourself, use logic as a natural depression treatment. You might feel like no one likes you, but is there real evidence for that? You might feel like the most worthless person on the planet, but is that really likely? It takes practice, but in time you can beat back those negative thoughts before they get out of control. 8. Do something new. When you’re depressed, you’re in a rut. Push yourself to do something different. Go to a museum. Pick up a used book and read it on a park bench. Take a language class. When we challenge ourselves to do something different, there are chemical changes in the brain. Trying something new alters the levels of [the brain chemical] dopamine, which is associated with pleasure, enjoyment, and learning. 9. Try to have fun. If you’re depressed, make time for things you enjoy. What if nothing seems fun anymore? That's just a symptom of depression. You have to keep trying anyway. As strange as it might sound, you have to work at having fun. Plan things you used to enjoy, even if they feel like a chore. Keep going to the movies. Keep going out with friends for dinner. When you're depressed, you can lose the knack for enjoying life. You have to relearn how to do it. In time, fun things really will feel fun again. I have answered your query. Hello lybrate-user when we have extra body fat we have difficulties of running, walking and many more. So loose weight and stay healthy.(1) exercise like yoga, skipping, swimming, lying butt bridge, back kick etc.(2) avoid fast foods and junk foods, sweets and other high calorie foods (3) take small amount of foods (4) take dates and yogurt (5) take whole grains, vegetables, fruits plenty (6) drink water 3lit/day and drink water before meals.(7) stay busy with study not with foods.(8) quality sleep. These primary things will help you.

These are the cause of whitening of hair: • Stress • Due to medicines • Due to nutrition • Use of chemical products • Due to pollution For prevention from whitening of hairs follow these instructions: • Do not take stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Hi lybrate-user, Increasing weight requires careful diet planning and life style changes. Add more proteins, egg white, fish and rice in the diet. Sleep well for 7-8 hours a day. Optimize the physical exercises. Improve water and fruits, salads intake. Ayurveda offers a special therapy called Navara kizhi - Consult a Ayurveda physician and take it for 48 days, it certainly improves muscle tone and structure.

Hello, I suggest You, diet control and exercise are equally important diet should be based on ideal body weight. Avoid sugar, junk food, processed food, cold drinks etc. You should go for brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 25 minutes daily. Take 1 glass lukewarm water with half lemon in the morning. Include more vegetable and fruits in your diet. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at night and don't skip breakfast. 1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. 4. If you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. 5. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 6. Do not eat for 3 hours before you go to sleep. Eating before going to bed is one of the main cause of rapid weight gain. 7. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water.

For what purpose Tab. Rexipra 5 mg is used. I came to know that it is used depression and generalised anxiety. But I do not feel like depressed or anxiety. Dear user. I can understand. Some anti anxiety and depression medicines are usually prescribed by doctors after or during medical therapy or surgical treatment. these are prescribed to avoid the ill effects of possible anxiety or depression. These prescription are normal and there is nothing to worry about that. Over and above, you will be asked to continue the dose for a period of 7 days or 15 days. then doctor will not compel you to continue it. Consult your doctor. Take care.

you may need proper assessment of your hormonal and metabolic state. without that effective approach is not possible. simply dieting with low fat low calorie food may not give you lasting weigh loss and wil keep you hungry or lethargic.

The treatment of diabetes is not that simple. There are many classes of diabetic drugs. It depends on extent of diabetes and complications to decide medicine for the diabetic person. Dosages are also decided upon depending on your acute and chronic sugar levels, fasting sugar levels, post prandial sugar levels, urine sugar levels, urine microalbumin levels, urea and creatinine levels. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
