Gastritis, lung & sinus infection may also be the cause of bad smell in the mouth. 90% of bad breath is due to a dirty tongue. Kindly consult a physician & dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning & fill tooth cavities with artificial enamel filling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too.: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Dear Lybrate user, consult your dentist and get a professional cleaning/scaling done. Use a mouthwash for 15 days and make sure that you brush at night. Your dentist can thoroughly check your teeth if there is any decay or gum infection that is leading to the abnormal taste or bad breath.

Bleeding gums can be a sign of early gum disease. You need to get a professional cleaning of your teeth done to remove any accumulated tartar. This should solve your problem. After that regular day to day care like twice a day brushing and vigorous rinsing after any food will keep your gums and teeth healthy.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need root canal treatment. Until then apply clove oil on the decayed tooth. Rinse frequently with mouth wash. Advise c. Amox 500mg 1-1-1, thrice daily, t. Metrogyl 400mg 1-1-1, thrice daily, t. Imol 1-1-1, thrice daily (contraindicated in conditions with gastric ulcer, asthma, wheezing, allergy), c. Becosules 1-0-0 once daily all for 3 days only. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. A complete radiograph opg or ct scan will help to plan the treatment options. If you are medically fit then best is dental implant for missing teeth otherwise dental bridge or partial denture can also be opted.

My teeth ary going black its not any bacteria and also have a problem of yellow teeth.

PERIODONTIST, B.D.S.
Dentist, Navi Mumbai
My teeth ary going black its not any bacteria and also have a problem of yellow teeth.
Your teeth are going black means it's due to caries. Don't wait for too long otherwise caries will destroy your teeth. Get it filled by your dentist. The second problem is of yellow teeth which can be due to improper brushing or can be a natural color of your teeth. I am saying natural color means it can be due to more transparency of outer layer of tooth (enamel) or dark yellow color of your second layer (dentin) of your tooth. The treatment for that is bleaching or cleaning along with polishing depending upon severity of yellowness.

You have an ulcer in the mouth and it need not be cancer and a biopsy is needed to say which type of an ulcer it is . For a normal ulcer you can apply Dentogel or Zytee cream
