Hello Doc. having nerve pain and when we consulted Orthopaedic doc, he said it was aggravated side and given the attached medicines. And asked for vitamin D and uric acid test as she was having swelling on toes. Some physiotherapy sessions were suggested which is also done However after 3 days there is no relief in pain and also swelling is more on right leg where there is side pain. Your advise please.

Hello, Go for meditation to reduce your stress to ease your problem. Tk, plenty of water to hydrate your body eliminating Uric acid. Your diet be easily digestible on time to avoid gastric disorder. Avoid, junk food. Ensure sound sleep for 6/7 hrs. Tk, homoeopathic medicine:@ Benzoic acid 30-6 pills, thrice. Tk, care.

Ruling out of anemia also important in your case. However, your symptoms are not directly related to anemia but in your age groups gals its a common problem and presents with similar non specific problems. Let me know how is your appetite and periods (means is there excess bleeding?). Get done with blood hemoglobin investigation to diagnose anemia.

Do consult neuro or musculosketal physiotherapist and rule out any degenerative changes or bone or nerve lesion if so have physiotherapy if treatment for 10 days followed by joint mobilisation exercises once pain subsides.

I am suffering from knee pain badly tht pain goes til my tight and I feel bad burnt inside my legs and it's unsaleable suggest me somthng I cannot sit on floor. All feel joke at home wen I tell them.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Dear Lybrate User, your grandfather has osteoarthritis.. For that.. It is considered as Vayu increased in the body and ultimately arthritis development due to lack of synovial fluid in the knee joint. So Avoid fast food junk food oily food spicy food heavy food to digest etc.. Drink more water.. Eat more and more green leafy vegetables.. Don't take opposite potency diet like milk and carrots sour fruits etc.. Don't suppress any natural urges like urine stool etc.. For Ayurvedic treatment and more guidelines Consult me..

Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Dear Lybrate I am having a constant pain in my lower back from the last 2.5 years I was on medication for an about one complete year for it. I am not able to bend forward properly, sometimes the pain goes to the leg also, doctors give antibiotics and pain killers mostly which weakens my immune system, I now catches cold very easily if I eat something cold, my age is 30, and weight is 63. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.
