Hi doctors, My question is how can I prevent huge sweating and dirty smell in my armpits ? Please reply in detail.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi. Hyperhidrosis is a condition characterized by abnormally increased sweating, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. It can be associated with a significant quality of life burden from a psychological, emotional, and social perspective. Hyperhidrosis can either be generalized, or localized to specific parts of the body. Hands, feet, armpits, and the groin area are among the most active regions of perspiration due to the high number of sweat glands in these areas. When excessive sweating is localized (e. G. Palms, soles, face, underarms, scalp) it is referred to as primary hyperhidrosis or focal hyperhidrosis. Excessive sweating involving the whole body is termed generalized hyperhidrosis or secondary hyperhidrosis. It is usually the result of some other, underlying condition. The cause of primary hyperhidrosis is unknown, although some physicians claim it is caused by overactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. Anxiety or excitement can exacerbate the condition for many sufferers. A common complaint of patients is they get nervous because they sweat, then sweat more because they are nervous. Other factors can play a role, including certain foods and drinks, nicotine, coffee-intake, caffeine, and smells. Overweight people sweat more profusely than normal-weight individuals because fat acts as an insulator that raises core temperature. Some things are in your control when it comes to sweating. Not all excessive sweating is weight-related. But even if your sweating has another cause, getting to a healthy weight is a good idea. Other causes are: a hot and humid environment and exercise are the most obvious causes of sweating. Additional factors that contribute to excessive sweating include alcohol, caffeine, medications and spicy foods. Conditions such as fever, menopause, overactive thyroid, low blood sugar and cancer can lead to excessive sweating. Emotional triggers such as stress, anxiety, anger, fear and embarrassment can contribute to this condition. Diets that include spicy food also might have lots of calories and fat, contributing to both extra pounds and excessive sweating. Being overweight often leads to low self-esteem and lack of confidence in social situations, which can lead to higher stress levels and more sweating. Losing weight can help correct the emotional affects and higher sweat levels. Don't assume your excessive sweating is attributable solely to excess weight. Sweating can be a sign of medical problem, so get yourself thoroughly examined by a doctor with required investigations to be done. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine- silicea 30 and bacopa monierri 1x - both thrice daily for 4 weeks. Use bakson's boro calendula talcum powder.

My hair changes his colour. Means black to White. I am student. 22 years old please help me.
1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

Death is inevitable in human life, no doubt it is painful but one has to accept this reality. There is no point in remain in grief and keeping away from others, this will make you mentally weak. Be happy and remain in good relatives, friends company. Do some yoga and meditation, visit near by religious place to get mental peace. Time is god a great healer, every thing will be alright, wait and watch with calm and cool mind.

Try correcting your posture while sitting for prolonged hours. If you are working and remaining in empty stomach for a long time, be careful. Trying taking small meals every 3 to 4 hours. Even then if the problem persists consult a Dr. Personally.

I am 18 year old girl and I had problem of mensturation cycle, it occurs twice a month please suggest is it normal or not.

Advanced Aesthetics

A number of factors can cause this problem, such as eating disorders, significant weight loss or gain, anemia, menopause, thyroid disorders, hormonal imbalance, liver disease, tuberculosis, irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes, recent birth or miscarriage, polycystic ovarian syndrome, uterine abnormalities, and other health conditions sesame seeds are useful in regulating menstrual cycles as they help balance your hormones. They are loaded with lignans that help bind excess hormones. Plus, they contain essential fatty acids that promote optimal hormone production. Jaggery, too, helps regulate menstrual cycles due to its warming effects. 1. Dry roast a handful of sesame seeds. 2. Grind them along with one teaspoon of jaggery into a fine powder. 3. Take one teaspoon of this powder daily on an empty stomach in the luteal phase, or second half of your menstrual cycle (two weeks before your period starts), for a few months. Simply eating a piece of jaggery, also known as gur, will also help regulate menstruation. Note: do not use this remedy during your periods any queries inform me.
