This not agood sign. For subsiding it I suggest you some remedies 1. Have your dinner at 8.00 pm and sleep at 10.30. 2. Avoid over eating 3. Avoid heavy food 4. Yogarag guggul 1 tab before lunch and dinner.

Male/21. I had an accident in 2010. My right leg's femur ,tibia, fibula as well as my right hand radius and ulna had a compound fracture. Now after 6 years I am better than before. Much healthy and energetic. So after all such i can I concentrate on my boxing training or those injuries will affect it. Pls help.

Hello. You can concentrate in that. But do start with a slow pace. And keep in mind that the fractured bones are weak not like normal .so you have to avoid sudden jerk or hit. Regards!

I am 48 years old female. I am having wrist pain. Also sometimes especially during early morning or while getting up after sitting longtime ankle pain also coming. What could be the reason? I don' t have any diabetics, bp etc

Dear , you should screen yourself with tests of arthritis, get cbc, esr, crp s uric acid, rf done and also get s rays of the painfull joints and send.

Do take ift and laser therapy for pain relief for 7 days followed by strengthening exercise from neuro physiotherapist do take balanced diet with rich source of calcium best wishes.

this back pain is due to no back exercise.... due to this muscle get stiff .... when suddenly you get move fast that time this stiff muscle get break and pain start..... in ayurved there is mentioned one procedure KATI BASTI ....DO THIS FOR FIVE DAYS WITH MEDICATED OIL if you want to do it you should do it under doctor observation .... so consult ayurvedic doctor near you ... you will definitely get good result .

I am 25 yr old male and have backache for last 2 months what should I do?

Backache is the commonest ailment. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore, lest it becomes starting point of a major problem.

Sir, For last few days I'm getting problem in my ankles. When I sit on chair comfortably more than 1 hour I get little pain in my ankles for four or five steps. Please suggest me what to do?

Acl damage and tear, lateral meniscus and cartilage damage - what is the line of treatment ?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually decision in a knee depends upon a thorough clinical examination for all structures and then correlating findings with mri of affected knee. My take on this is: I think you should go for a diagnostic arthroscopy and then proceed. This will help in 2 ways, first we can see all structures inside ot with our own eyes and see for complete tears and laxity. Complete acl tear ar your age will require a reconstruction arthroscopically, lateral meniscus can be balanced and managed. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hi Thanks for your query and Welcome to Lybrate. I am Dr Akshay from Fortis Hospital, New Delhi. Actually pain at calf/Leg region can be due to many reasons , commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to Tendons, Nerves, Blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be : - Ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - Take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - Stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - Intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - Slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - We will get some blood tests for you - Serum Vitamin D and serum Potassium levels, ESR and CRP Once you have all these reports then you can contact me as i can advise you for proper supplementation Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Avoid protein diets,bad habits , fast food/fat/oily,salty foods. Coffee, smoking, alcohol intake. Non-veg., take whole grain,oats,green veg.,plenty of water in day time, 1 glass of water at night before bed. Take tab. Zyloric 100 mg once a day. Tab. Bencid 500 mg once a day.

Hi lybrate-user here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -some physiotherapy treatment like ift current can give you some relief. -a physical therapist can tell you when to begin stretching and strengthening exercises and how to do them. Take care.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part--knee. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Better try to do physiotherapy manipulation and Traction. Some more exercise needed to strengthen the neck muscles,73 years its not better for operation
