Bell's palsy is a type of facial paralysis that results in an inability to control the facial muscles on the affected side. This condition causes inflammation of the facial nerve, which commonly causes the muscles on one side of the face to droop.

No one knows exactly why bell’s palsy occurs. Most common cause could be a viral infection of the facial nerve.

Symptoms can vary from mild to severe. They may include muscle twitching, weakness, or total loss of the ability to move one side of the face. Other symptoms include drooping of the eyelid, a change in taste, pain around the ear, and increased sensitivity to sound.

2. Loss of blinking control on the affected side
3. Drooping of the mouth to the affected side
4. Altered sense of taste
5. Slurred speech
6. Drooling (difficulty in eating and drinking)
7. Pain in or behind the ear
8. Sound hypersensitivity on the affected side

Neck pain -due To Water Bottle Use

We all know it's very common in our lifestyle to drink water and all drinks with a bottle.
Due to repetitive use of neck into hyperextension many time in a day. Which cause repetitive injury into small muscle gradually.
Which cause micro spasm into the neck muscle and lead mild stiffness into the neck and limited range of motion.
Which lead to mal-alignment of the joint in the neck which alters the natural joint play moment and causing - headaches: neck pain: morning stiffness: many more symptoms.
Advice- take your water with glass by sitting at the table or on chair /bed. Whatever possible according to your surrounding.

Did you have any injury? What kind of work do you do. There are many queries which need to be answered before telling a treatment. I would suggest you to visit some specialist and get thorough examination done. Then it would be easier to treat you. Neck sound is because of osteophytes most probably. Might not need any treatment if there is no pain or weakness of upper limbs. Regarding Osteoarthritis of knees, treatment depends upon clinical examination. It varies from different exercises, some medicines, or injections in knee to may be Partial joint replacement or Total knee replacement. Joint saving surgery to joint replacement surgery. Many options are available. Everything depends upon your complaints, clinical examination and x Ray findings. I'm Dr Prashant Parate. Shoulder and Knee specialist. You can visit me in OPD too.
