Hi, I am 15 years old and I study in 10th class. I am having some anxiety issues my heart rate is ridiculously high all the time. I am always worried about everything like how will I look, how will others treat me, how will I perform in my exam. What I mean to say is I am worried about every thing happening around me. Even when I am writing this I fear that you are going to pick out grammatical mistakes from this question. I play out every situation in my mind and it always ends up me looking like a prick. Thanks.

Dear Lybrate User, if there is no relief then you need to review the medication with your doctor. Along with medication you would require Psychotherapy sessions as there is always a emotional issue related with anxiety n depression. Thus that case needs to be unveiled and removed or alleviated in order to recover. Medication cannot remove the emotional reason. So kindly act on both things. Divine Blessings!

Pls let me know should I live or suicide. In my 15th age it's all get started. In the form of bdd ,ocd n depression. I've got 95%marks in 10th grade n 87 in 12th. Then I chose btech. I've got admission in a govt engineering college as I got good rank in entrance. After that everything gone wrong. I started drinking and smoking. I thought it can minimize my depression. Then I become alone. No talk with anyone. Always sad. Then I quit btech. Then I took treatment. After few months my problem get minimised. Bt it didn't last more than a month. When I felt sick I went back to hospital n took treatment. When it decreases I tried new study path. I've tried b.com, animation, fashion designing, interior designing. And I tried to go for small paying jobs. I couldn't complete anything. I tried suicide. When I tried suicide first time I've taken to hospital and took ECT. I tried suicide twice more. Each time I took ECT. It's been a month my ECT finished. I joined a job. Now I lost my job because of my disease. Doctors and my relatives didn't allow me to die. But nothing can cure me. My mom already lost lot of money for my treatment. What should I do now.

Dear Lybrate User, A lot of time, energy and effort takes to overcome the mental disease. Suicide or its thoughts only reflect the easy way out. I do understand it is very painful to undergo depression n multiple mental challenges all at one time but suicide is NOT the answer. I belive you would require a lot of Psychotherapy and medication for the multiple challenges you have. I can suggest one method if you align or resonate with the therapy approach - Past Life Regression Therapy. You look for answers you are not able to find in past lives. If your belief system allows you to go for it, it has promising results in depressing n ocd. But there are cetain contraindication which needs to be ruled out. You can contact me if this feels right. Divine Blessings!

Dear Lybrate User, You are having separation anxiety along with Adjustment disorder. Every country has its own culture and values and you need to find something that is intrinsically meaningful to you in the new country. Once you find that meaningfulness or value on the new culture you wud be able to feel connected to people. Or you can use Internet to connect with Indians in that country. For career n growth one has to move out from the protective cocoon of parents. That is how nature has built the system. I hope this helps. Divine Blessings!

Dear Lybrate User, It is important to know why did you cheat on your current bf. Probably you were not over your ex. It is very important in any relationship that you start anew only after you are emotionally over one person. So now I would suggest you distance yourself with both of them, focus onto yourself completely and contemplate what led you to cheating. You can also take help of Past Life Regression Therapy if you want to completely overcome the depression. It is okay to do a mistake - only one should not repeat it. So focus on yourself, your career and move past both the boys. And remain without a bf for at least 6 months. Only then you will understand the deep core issue underlying within. For any professional help you can contact privately. Divine Blessings.

Dear Lybrate User, Tea has caffeine content which acts as stimulator for nervous system and take it into a alert state. Yet it is not a direct direutic meaning the substance which stimulates kidney filtration hence urge to pass urine. On the contrary coffee has been identified as direutic substance more than tea coz of enhanced caffeine content. Excess consumption of any substance is harmful. But there are no scientific links known between anxiety n tea.

Dear Lybrate User, Why did you stop taking the Depression medication. The Psychiatric medication isn't allowed to stop or start suddenly. It gives brain shock waves which are harmful. These medication can only be reduced very gradually over a period of time. please continue your medication and see your doctor when he comes. You can also contact Psychologist along with medicine to reveal the cause of depression and tackle it. Divine Blessings.
