Hello, I am 19 years old .I am suffering from stammering. Due to this my confidence is very low. I want to be free from stammering. Please guide me.

Speech Therapist, Delhi
You should start taking speech therapy. You also need to work on your confidence. Reduce your rate of speech, stop avoiding situations in which you feel less confident.

You are interacting too much about office work. You are neglecting your personal care. Everyone has personal office. Doctor has so many patients regularly. But always he takes very much care in all aspects. He does not confused. Doing work very systematically. He never takes his work into home. He relaxed when the work is over. He does not think about his patient's condition in home. Every day comes serious problems do or die situations. But he never take the situation in to home. Or never applied his personal status. It is professional life. So professional life is different from personal life. You are equating both professional and professional life status. Then it iscause of no sleep. It may affect on body also. So take rest when work is over. Relax very well in the middle of the work. Do not be tensed. Feel always comfortable. Be share your all feelings with your friends and family members. Be happy all the time. Do some good exercises. Practice yoga and meditation also. Ok all the best.

Hi I have singer nodule from past week. How can I treat it and recover my original voice. Even I have heard that I should fully rest my voice for a week not even whispering. I am currently using betadine solution suggested by Lybrate doctor. But still I wanted to ask resting my voice for week will recover my voice?

General Physician,
you must be having laryngitis may be due to some viral infection laryx is very delicate and sensitive organ of the throat which is responsible for sound and vibration module of voice so you !must give rest to the larynx at least for a week. do warm saline gargle regularly have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin C thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection. it will be alright.

Please do some physical activity everyday. This is very important for your recovery. Becauses you are young, the prognosis will be very good but you have to cooperate. Comply with all the medical prescriptions and work in tandem with a counselor for a long time and learn coping skills and techniques to handle the daily challenges you will face. There are certain adaptations that will suit you during the elation phase and there are certain behaviors that are required during the depressed phases. In the meantime you can do certain things that will give you benefits anyway. Emotional therapy will alleviate a lot of the problems faced in this condition because it is a mood disorder. You need to particularly look at your levels of anger both for its reasonableness and to express it in appropriate manner. I suspect that much of this anger may have origins in early childhood that you may never be aware of it now. Talk to your parents and explore that angle. This information will help the counselor too. Also you will need to check whether there is any genetic factor involved. You must exercise regularly, eat healthily and sleep normally too. If your motivation and cooperation is good much can be achieved. You must have a time-structured schedule filled with interesting and reasonable activities and it must be monitored for compliance and delivery. The reason I say this is that many times you will be inclined to have grandiose notions and confidently believe that you can do without the medication. This will set you back many months in the treatment and delay and sabotage the recovery: forewarned you are forearmed. If this combination of medication with therapy is maintained for at least three years without any episodes or breakdowns, it is possible to taper the medication in consonance with the doctor.

Hi, my sister has a stretch marks in her both the knees, she is 20 years old, She is very angry with that, so pls give me the solution for this, pls get me the home therapy and medical solution also.

Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, For Pink Stretch Marks: You can massage gently any good brand oil containing more percentage of vitamin E like olive oil, coconut oil, egg oil, bio-oil twice and aloe vera daily, but after completion of 1&1/2 months of giving birth (if the delivery was normal) or after 4 months (in case of caesarean section that too depends upon the condition of the stitches and the area). Make sure you are eating a nutrient based diet. Make sure that your skin is getting the proper nutrition so that it can repair and stay healthy. Drink enough water (2 litres daily), as the skin loses its elasticity when you are dehydrated. Being at a healthy weight also helps. Use Vaseline, or petroleum jelly to keep the skin moisturized. Can take vitamin C & E orally. *******************If the stretch marks are white in colour, then you will have to opt for Laser which can only help you to reduce it to some extent only**************************

Recurrent Seizures - How They Affect You?

Epilepsy or seizers is a neurologic disorder, which can also be classified as a chronic dysfunction of the human brain. Epilepsy is a condition that is common to both adults and children and the symptoms for the same can be spotted in any person, regardless of age or time. Though the condition can be troublesome, there is no reason to fear it. Epilepsy is curable and can be omitted with regular homoeopathic medication and treatments. If you have epilepsy, read on to find the best cures and treatments for the condition.

How epilepsy affects you?
Epilepsy is a condition of the brain, where it is forced to suddenly put a stop the normal electronic activities that it is used to performing. Symptoms of recurring seizures include-

  1. Sudden disorientation
  2. Confusion or inability of registering any activity around you
  3. Uncontrollable and contorted shaking of the body
  4. Suddenly stricken with fear
  5. Gritting of teeth
  6. Losing all consciousness, etc.

If you have noticed any or more than one of these symptoms, it is time to give the doctor a visit. A homoeopathic specialist, in this case, can prove to be the most helpful.

Types of seizures or epilepsy:
Epilepsy again can be classified into some varieties, depending on which part of the brain it is affecting. Some of the different kinds of epilepsies include-

  1. Partial Seizures: Partial Seizers are further classified into simple partial seizures, absent seizures and complex partial seizures. The first variety is characterised by jerking of the body and slight impairment of sight and sound. The second variant is characterised with momentary unconsciousness, slight twitching of the facial muscles and upward gaze. The last variety if, characterised by heavy jerking of the body, almost like in a trance and last for over a minute.
  2. Generalised Seizure or Convulsion: The Generalized seizure is a more engaging form of epilepsy that affects the whole body and results in profuse convulsion. This kind of seizures is characterised by complete loss of consciousness, heavy jerking caused due to muscular contractions, severe breathing difficulty, reddening of the face and post attach back aches.

These different types of seizures are caused depending on the area of the brain that they involve.

Best homoeopathic treatments for seizures:
Homeopathy has come up with some of the most valuable and well-researched treatments to cure epilepsy in individuals. Some of the most noted remedies and medications include-

  1. Calcarea Carbonica
  2. Cuprum Metallicum
  3. Bufo Rana
  4. Kali Bromatum
  5. Enanthe Crocata
  6. Nux Vomica
  7. Silicia
  8. Sulphur
  9. Cicuta Virosa
  10. Belladonna
  11. Hyoscyamus
  12. Causticum, etc.

These remedies are designed to positively affect different kinds of epilepsies, with different intensities and in different stages. These are only a handful of cures for seizures suggested by homoeopathy. Visiting a professional, homoeopathic, medical specialist will allow you to recognise the type of epilepsy you have and also find the best remedy for the same.

Hi, I have a question, I think a friend of mine is going through depression. The cause for the same is she takes all the things negative on herself. This she is doing for years but never reflected but now this since she is thinking that nothing is happening as she wants, this negative behavior is reflected in her talks. I think this is a kind of depression only. Kindly let me know if this is a depression or only a behavior which will get resolved when the things get in her favor.

Right now there are no signs of depression but over time she can develop it. To me she is sounding pessimistic and it may be because of the reason you mention. She should ideally examine herself and see why she is experiencing so many failures in life. How much is she the cause? Very often we precipitate negative happenings towards us by certain factors in our self. If she is suffering from a rejection issue from some events in childhood, she could be living and sending out signals to attract the same. Kindly get in touch with me for some literature on this that could help her get out of the failure mode and shift to the success mode. With so many failures I myself will be affected. But if she can prevent the failures by certain adaptations, she could turn the events in her life to great levels of achievement.

I have habit of drinking alcohol of 2-3 pack (like Imperial blue/Magic moment/old muck rum) in 1-2 Days of month like special occasion/friend's birthday party. It was harmful for my health in future? Please help me to answering the question?
