Hi, im 25 years old male I had a road accident and broke my lower jaw and had a frature manddiable -b/l condylayer fracture I had a surgery of IMF and arch bar fixation and ORIF done 1.I want to know in how many days I can have normal food and when can I start eating hard food items? 2.what is the best excercise for increasing my jaw opening?

Prevention is better than cure for your dental health as well as economic health.Regular check up will prevent disease of tooth and gums.Fillings,cleaning is prevention which is not so expensive and after pain root canal,placing crown ,removal of tooth ect.Are treatment which will be costly.

I have pain in my teeth. I use sensodyne while brushing my teeth twice a day but then also my pain is not getting less please give me some solution to my problem.

Hello, pain in tooth and sensitivity are two different problems. Sensitivity is sharp, shooting type of sensation in teeth on contact of extremely cold or hot food which usually lasts for a few seconds and disappears completely after that and re-occurs again on such stimulus. Pain in the tooth which is not getting less indicates a different and more complex problem which needs proper examination and treatment. You have pain in your teeth and sensodyne (any of the sensitive toothpaste) is a sensitive toothpaste. So there will not be any relief offered by any sensitive toothpaste. You can take a pain killer tablet like brufen 400 or combiflam for a temporary relief and consult a dentist for proper treatment to avoid such problem in future. (note: pain killer tablets are also not solution because they only treat the symptom and not the cause of tooth pain. Also harmful for the body if taken for longer periods without proper supervision.)

Dear sir , I am 46 years male suffering from anxiety and depression since two three years , on psychiatric medication but no improvement , having main problem is tension headache and loss of appetite , a little tension gives me headache and this headache problem is since 15-20 years , when happy , no tension , no headache , when I busy with work no headache observed but when I remember headache starts , now a days due to anxiety I am suffering from loss of appetite can not eat even a single roti , dryness in mouth please help me to solve my problem , please suggest exercise , natural cure for my issue , taking medicines since two years but no improvement.

You are probably into an anger related depression and do need the help of a counselor to ideally work through your emotions in particular. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least, 30 minutes but not in the scorching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive every day and learn to be contented with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

Hello , twice daily brushing and flossing is absolutely essential for proper oral care. Besides brushing and flossing you should rinse your mouth with plain water after eating and drinking. It helps in removal of all food debris which is the main cause of tooth decay & gum problems. Plus you can use mouth rinses for additional benefit which helps in reducing bacterial count in your mouth. And finally visit your dentist on regular basis (i. E. Once in 6 months) for prevention and early treatment of the underlying problems.

Hello, Visit a dentist get your scaling and polishing done. Gaps can be filled by veneers or crowns. Ask your dentist for it. Brush twice daily, maintain proper brushing technique, floss regularly and rinse after every meal. Visit dentist every 6 months.
