Burkitt lymphoma is a rare type of cancer of the lymphatic system which helps your body fight infections. The three types of burkitt lymphoma are sporadic, endemic and HIV-related. This condition is characterized by fever, sudden weight loss, and night sweats. It can also cause distortion of facial bones and abdominal swelling. Burkitt's lymphoma can be diagnosed by biopsy of tumors. Intensive intravenous chemotherapy is mainly used as a treatment for this condition.
