lybrate-user, It would have been better if actual thyroid test values were mentioned. That would have clarified all the doubts. If hypothyroidism is present then treatment is advocated if TSH levels are more than 10 mU/L. Or sometimes even at levels between 6 to 9.9 mU/L if there are any severe symptoms attributable to hypothyroidism and low T4 levels.
