Do life style changes like.
Maintain active life style. Exercise regularly.
Avoid fast foods n fried foods.
Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. Get some much-needed stress relief-- by doing, yoga, meditation etc.
Establishing a sleep schedule and sticking to it helps. Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day—including weekends. In general, the sweet spot for sleep is between 6 and 8 hours.
Drink a lot of water.

it is only needs if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy otherwise take iodised salt in unripe form in salad and fruits recheck after 3 months
if more than 10 then only we give medicine.

lybrate-user, It would have been better if actual thyroid test values were mentioned. That would have clarified all the doubts. If hypothyroidism is present then treatment is advocated if TSH levels are more than 10 mU/L. Or sometimes even at levels between 6 to 9.9 mU/L if there are any severe symptoms attributable to hypothyroidism and low T4 levels. The tsh level is high (please read about hypothyroidism from the internet to understand the problem ). You need to go for a check up with your doctor and start the treatment. It needs regular monitoring and follow-up with the doctor. Keep checking the reports so that the medicine and it's dosage can be adjusted by the doctor accordingly. Lybrate-user, hypothyroidism is a deficiency disease, so that hormone (thyroxine) has to be supplemented every day from outside. Hence there is no cure. Treatment has to be on for lifetime.
