Hello sir
weight reduction is achieved by three dimensional approach.
1. dietary changes- you must take high fiber and whole grain diet like khichdi, daliya, corn flex, fruits, soups, juices, multi grain atta chapati etc.
avoid- deep fried, spicy, sweets, nonveg(if u take),cold drinks, curd etc.

1. Overweight,
2. Deficiency of vitamin d3 or calcium,
3. Postural stress,

Dear Lybrate user, I hope there is minor issues at back and can be treated easily. I would suggest showing it to Interventional pain specialist or Orthopaedician with spine fellowship for evaluation and find out the source which could be disc, facet (spine joints), SI joint, paraspinal muscles etc. Once source is found it can be easily treated from conservative management to interventions. Is there stiffness also?
How is your appetite?
R you constipated?

If you are doing yoga for the first time or after a long time then the pain is OK provided you don't have a history of back pain. Or else wait for some days for the pain to subside by applying hot packs and rest.
