Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful
use no pillow under the head.
Do hot fomantation.
Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket.
And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only.

It may be because of vertebral disc problem. Avoid forward bending. Sleep straight on hard couch in supine position. Consult an orthopedic surgeon for detailed examination.

1) avoid those activities which increases your pain. Eg: forward bending etc
2) one should find out the cause of your pain eg: if the pain has started suddenly, it could be a muscle pull while playing or bending or long stretch driving 3) if the pain is since long and is increasing gradually then you should go for a radiological report to diagnose the problem.
