Keep check on your blood pressure and bl sugar. They should be within limits.
Take low salt diet.
Keep your cholesterol level under control too
diet depends on all reports and kind of illness too.

Pain arising form Kidney is may be due to stones or other causes like Hydronephrosis and felt as pain either side of Flank area may be radiating to back or external genital area

If pain is persisting then you are in need of consult with physician and get usg abdomen xray kub urine r/m etc.

If your diseased kidneys infected or any type of tumour in this situation your next kidney also affected please proper consult nephrologist as soon as possible.
