It may be because of acidity. But I need to know more to make a diagnosis. Are you constipated.

Some dietary modifications might help you to deal with stomach problems.
Eat fresh food. Avoid carbonated drinks and spicy food. Drink plenty of liquids. Eat 3-4 servings of fruits everyday.
Avoid fibres in food till u recover from infection..have soft diet.
Take probiotics.
