It would have been helpful if you would have mentioned your Fasting blood sugar, 2 hrs post prandial sugar and HbA1c level. 1. You can prevent diabetes by proper balanced diet, avoid oily fatty and fried items, with more of greens and vegetables / avoid sugary items. Maintain proper weight according to your height by regular physical activity with meditation /yoga (by being stress free). Recommended proper sleep in proper timing atheist 7 to 8 hrs at night. If you follow this, you can avoid diabetes. All the best.
