Helllo Samiksha... one cigarette... and in one day may not cause breast cancer...
It may be something else... better wait for few days.. it may go by itself... And if they don't or increase then consult for proper treatment.

Symptoms of breast cancer include a lump in the breast, bloody discharge from the nipple and changes in the shape or texture of the nipple or breast.
You should go for mammography.

Dear mam, most common symptom of breast cancer is palpable lump, which is mostly painless. Other symptoms can be redness of skin, swelling of one of the breast, lymphadenopathy in armpits, skin thickening etc.
If one breast is larger from the beginning, it's normal as there are likely to be some variations, but if suddenly some change is there then need to be evaluated.

Mam, post breast cancer treatment due to lymphnode dissection, lymphodema of arm is present. You have to do regular arm exercises to reduce edema or swelling. Apart from this you can use arm sleeves or stockings or tie three layered crepe bandage. Some lymphodema clinics are available in cancer hospital where physiotherapy is done for this and lymphodema pumps can be used. There are surgical options for edema not relieved by above means.

It can not be said so because there are many causes of lumps in the chest/armpits. You need to be examined at least once so as to arrive at a diagnosis. Thanks.

Dear sir, regular self breast examination five days after the periods are over, is the key to diagnose in early stages. If over 40 years then she can get mammography done in addition to self and clinical breast examination. Most often it presents as painless lump, so do not ignore any lumps in breast.
