Lump, pain and itching around breast is more likely suggestive of fibroadenosis of breast. It is a benign condition. I suggest you to go for ultrasound of breast and fnac if any lesion in breast.

There is a possibility. But to find out you need to see a geneticist who can do a brca mutation screening so as to define the risk.

If the question is for your friend I would say that cancer has advanced to a state where it is involving chest wall thereby nerves. She requires palliative therapy. If you want to know for yourself, my reply is let breast be allowed to function for the purpose god created it for, i. Respected Sukanya so far as causes are concerned there are vivid and so many . Major are hereditary genes, having long standing lumps in breast not treated, no breast feeding to child is also there & lot many. Symptoms are lump in breast , occasionally pain, deviation of nipple & areola , asymmetry in size of both breasts, weight loss loss of appetite in advance stage . Dear mam, breast cancer is lifestyle related disease sedentary lifestyle, fatty food, lack of exercise, apart from this it could be related to hormonal imbalance due to some types of hormonal supplements, late menarchy or menopause,late marriage and late or no conception, not breast feeding and lastly it could be genetic. Abnormal sleeping habits may lead to personality change and psychological disorders but not really directly related to breast cancer.

Respected lybrate-user hi there are always chances of recurrence of cancer to variable extent in any cancer. Only thing is to have patience keep faith in treating surgeon & go ahead with advised mode of treatment keeping full faith in self destiny that is utmost important than any other medicine dear your moral will keep you going far in such cases thanks regards.
