There is evidence that certain dietary supplements and vitamins can help with certain types of pain. Fish oil is often used to reduce pain associated with swelling. Topical capsaicin, derived from chili peppers, may help with arthritis, diabetic nerve pain, and other conditions. There's evidence that glucosamine can help relieve moderate to severe pain from osteoarthritis in the knee. Do reply back for private consultation. And detailed treatment plan.

Hi lybrate user,
before doing yoga or gym, please do proper warm up exercises of 10-15 minutes.

Dear lybrate-user. Before opting for operation I suggest you to take your father for physiotherapy treatment for 2 months for complete treatment. Swd and inferential therapy and excercises heals the pain and get relaxed with disc problem. Can see the difference in 15 days after taking physiotherapy treatment.

Dear lybrateuser,
-you can do gentle & restorative yoga if you do not have symptoms of dizziness, shortness of breath, fatigue or heart arrhythmia
-do poses where you are able to rest supine without shortness of breath, avoid vigorous yoga practice
-you can also do normal walking for 15-20 min daily
-do take advice from your physician before setting out on a programme.
