Exercise regularly. Exercise can help keep your joints flexible and your muscles strong. Types of exercises that are less stressful on joints include biking, swimming, walking, yoga and tai chi.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. I need to know what kind of arthritis are you talking about, is it degenerative or osteoarthritis or inflammatory like rheumatoid arthritis because management is entirely different for both the groups.
Also please mention joints affected, latest x rays and what treatment is she currently undergoing? do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

It is important to know what kind of arthritis you have. There are different ways to treat different types. Please elaborate your problem here and post your reports if possible. Being a 20 year old male, it is rare to have any kind of arthritis except something autoimmune.
Thanks.
