Resisted terminal knee extension: make a loop with a piece of elastic tubing by tying a knot in both ends. Close the knot in a door at knee height. Step into the loop with your injured leg so the tubing is around the back of your knee. Lift the other foot off the ground and hold onto a chair for balance, if needed. If you could tell me status of uric acid, ESR, RA Blood reports and X-ray of LS spine repirt, it would be easier to comment correctly.
If leg pain is radiating from back, it proves intervertebral disc involvement.
You cannot depend on pain killers for life.
Physio, Yoga and herbal approach is must for safe management.
Pl inform for proper advise or consult any Ayurveda doctor near you.
Till then pl arrange for Nycanthes leaves and boil these daily sip...more

please investigate properly and send the x-ray and other investigation report to rule out whether it is arthritis or anything else.
This is may be due to overweight or deficiency of vitamin d3 and calcium or due to poor posture. Till then follow these advises -

hello raj for treatment please provide your age & other reports XRAY & blood reports .1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min.
2) Start natural calcium supplement.
3) Do regular stretching exercise
4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR.

Follow this 1. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. (preferably within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of plain water first ...more
